You're absolutely right, the 1HZ isn't built for speed or quick gains, but more for reliability and longevity. That being said, my intent is not to abuse the engine but just to have a bit more usable power not looking to push it hard.
I agree on the health check part so far I've only judged based on smoke, blowby , and overall running, but I’ll definitely get a comprehensive health check done from Qaiser or Osama as you suggested before doing anything else.
I’m not interested in engine swaps either. I’d rather keep the original motor and just mildly enhance it — a clean, well-tuned turbo setup capped around 8-10 psi, with supporting mods like EGT, boost gauges, and proper fueling.
Also fully aware that resale won’t benefit, but the goal is personal satisfaction, not ROI.
If you or anyone has had direct experience with Kaizr Cruiser for such work in Karachi, would love to hear your feedback before I approach them.
