I have this system installed in my Civic and it works great. The remote starter feature will however, work only with auto transmission vehicles. Perhaps the best feature is the shock sensor...you can adjust the sensitivity level to high. The remote will start beeping even if you are inside the house or up in your office building from the parking lot. Starter kill feature will cut off the fuel so the car can not start without the original key.

We have been steadily selling these recently around the GTA area and now offering them to folks in Pakistan.

COST AND SHIPPING:
The cost of the system is C$175 and i guess shipping to KHI will cost anywhere around $40 through regular Canada post mail. There are two options for payment...

2)You give 50% of the final price as a deposit to my brother who lives in KHI. Once the deposit is made, the package will be shipped right away.

Final word...this is not a cheap chinese imitation...nor it is the top of the line system like Compustar and Viper (these retail for over $400). I have been using it and it works just fine.

I do not have an agent in ISL so you can send your payment by a certified cheque to my brother in KHI or alternatively, you can pay me online through paypal which will be much quicker (Paying through paypal will require registration with a valid credit card)

Cost of shipping to ISL may be a little higher but not enough to break the deal. Let me know if you are interested. Shipping will take approximately 3 weeks once the order is placed.

In response to MPS's question, the item will be shipped to my brother's address in KHI (Defence Phase 6) and you can simply go and pick it up after making the rest of the payment. Total cost in Pak rupees will be approx. 11,300.

Keep in mind that all LCD systems are not the same. I can sell you one for as low as Rs. 6,000 but we opted to get Radiostar due to its quality and reliability factor. If you can find exactly the same system (with same features) at a lower price...it makes sense not to buy from me. If something turns up defective, simply return it and you will get your refund.

About paypal.com, it wouldn't register you if you are in Pakistan and registering thru Pakistan. As it does not support Pakistan in its list of countries.

Maybe more people should write to www.paypal.com and include Pakistan in its list of countries.

Well..having paypal to add Pakistan on their list of countries is dependent on how many people are willing to sign up on paypal to receive payments because that is how they make money.

I dont wanna get into a price discussion...and i also dont care about other systems. I am sure people who have the knowledge will go for the right balance of price and quality...not just price.

it uses FM (frequency modulation) like FM radio, 3000 FT is without obstacles and will decrease with every obstacle but not finish abruptly by a single wall.

The installation is very simple unless you have airbags, because if you use a multi-meter on the wire which triggers the bag, the bag will deploy itself and because you'll be crouched beneath the steering wheel, you may get some injury.

So basically you need:

1. the wire that is coming from the ignition key and carries the CRANKING voltage, the immobilizer gets installed on it.

2. The wire carrying the break is pressed signal

3. Central locking trigger wire (active low usually)
4. Dome light for some models

and maybe a couple of other simple wires, but you can only have a good installation if you remove the dashboard during install. If you can install it with the dashboard on, at least one wire would be visible and will leave enough clue for anybody to disable the system in under 7 seconds NO KIDDING.

One way system fail when you open the hood and dip the siren in a water container, so some people go as far as locking the hood with a chain and padlock from inside so that the hood only opens two inches, enough to unlock the padlock.

In the two way system you are informed and maybe able to reach the car or within 3000 ft to take action.

In GSM systems the 3000 ft is replaced by anywhere where your SIM can get online

With this offer not valid anymore I will look into the GSM system offered by Ateeque or go for the SteelMate 888A, which many people on PakWheels tried and are satisfied with.

But I'll need to know a place which works under warranty from Toyota Defence - Karachi.
