anyone havimg idea about yokohama or dunlop 205/65/R15 or 205/65/R15 , i wanna change my corolla xli 2008 general tyres of 175/70/R14 with them. bcoz 175/70 general tyres r very bad in handling, sp. @ hi speed, bracking & @ curve is also bad with general tyres, anyone having idea ab. it

Can anyone tell which tire is the best for Coure. My coure sometimes have to drive on bad or unpaved muddy roads as well, and previous tires (Bridgestone) were getting punctured almost every fortnight.

Any suggestions? please also mention the (estimated) price of the tires you suggest, if you have any idea.

NEXEN are one of the best tires.......with excellent road grip traction n smooth on high speeds.........using them in my khyber 165 r12 70....alaaa tyres !!!!

Yokohama A Drive. A very nice and reasonable tyre.

You'll get it for around Rs 4800 per tyre

yes in this price range definately worth the price,im planning to change tyres of my car in coming week,delayed it alot because of my studies

Seems to be excellent. But i doubt you will find it anywhere in Pakistan.
Ive been going to dealers to find tyres for civic.
Dunlop Sp9000, Lm 701,702 and ECO are available.

In yokoz, A drive and Aspec are only available.

So we really donnot have choices here in pakistan.

yeah v true,but ive seen these tyres on a few cars :S
other tyres which i really like are good year gds3 which are avalible in lahore

Not a good choice. Our cars already have poor sound insulation. This is a pure rotational tyre and will be annoying on motorways and high/morderate speeds. Imagine that Brrrrrrr sound going in your ears for hours

What is the word on Eurostar made by General; the ones which come stock on Corolla and civic?

I got these with my 2009 Civic (sold now), and they were pathetic. They don't look the look, they are very hard, and offer poor consumption. I had at the time changed to Yokohama C Drives, and they were very good, albeit, had a loss of some grip during braking.

The Yoko dB Decible is said to be rotational, but it has 5 wide grooves which minimises the sound to atleast 70% if we compare it to a typical rotational tyre. Go for the tyre which has atleast 4 wide grooves, if you want something soundless. Plus these grooves are made for highspeed traction.
This is why the cars of Formula 1 and ALL the JETS have tyres with multiple grooves.

But if you donnot travel on motorway at all then you can go for the tyres you like but mind you, a single motorway trip with a typical rotational tyre is enough to spin your head.

i dont take my gli outa lhr much so prolly within city use

yoko was best yaar but from last 2-3 years quality decrease bcoz now coming from indonesia or thailand
