aoa, i need information regarding yokohama db, yokohama 300 and micheline energy XM1, which one is a better option.....? i am looking for tyres of my civic exi 2005, orignal tyre size of cicic exi is 185/65 R 14, If i change this size with 195/70 R 14 then what will be the effect of tyres on my car suspension, handling, fuel consumption, speed etc etc plz guys help me out......thanx

does not effect much,,,i had put 195/65/r15 with alloys in my civic exi 2002 ,,,,consumption only reduces 10-15km,,,not much,,,,

Our new Corolla came with Eurostar and frankly the performance is average. The grip is not as bad as the General XP2000 that came with our previous Cultus but they are very hard and tend to make the ride a bit uncomfortable.

very bad experience on Genral tires.. usually they are out..
currently using Dunlop sp-10.. Mashaalah very very smooth drive as well as control on steering..
bought it 15,000.. All four tires. with one year warranty

Lassa in pakistan is coming from their turkish plant and is very soft.A cousin was using it since many years i have not heard any complaint from him ever.

How about hankook tyres?

I need to get my civic's tyres changed, i got a quote for hankook tyres, 7500 per tyre, 205-60-R15

Anyone having any experience with them? The shop keeper told me not to spend extra money on Yokohama Advan, rather get hankook.

My personal Experience....

Dunlop: Loses grip after some time even if the tread has not worn off
Pirelli: Awesome tires but too expensive
Michelin: Just a name and no quality
Yokohama: Simply the best in price and usage
Falekn: The worst i ever bought. Got 195/65 r15 FALKEN ZIEX life was 1/3rd of all above brands and tires got plain in 20000 kms on my Reborn as compared to Yokohama Aspec DBdna which lasted 55000 kms

NOTE: Before buying tires donot forget to check the date of manufacture given on the side wall since age matters a lot in the quality of rubber
