Tyre changed Toyota vitz issues

Hi Guys Salam

I have recently changed my tyres for toyota vitz 2013 from 165/70/R14 to 185/65/R15.... I experience some issue in pick on AC and feel that car is also consuming some extra fuel.....I have also heard that gari kharak jayegi and hissay ka kaam nikalay gi....Please advice and also give advice to improve fuel average cos currently it is giving me 11 12 on AC

14 " wheels with smaller foot print 165 mm (wide)
changed to

15 " wheels with wider foot print 185 mm (wide)

will obviously have affect over fuel consumption

_ 70 & 65 _ are height profile & does not matter.

and also gari lagti bohat thi neechy ab fit ho gayee hy....so i wanted to ask k koi aur kaam tu nahi nikal ayega agar ehtiat sy chalaon tu

under carriage clearance is due to height profile of new tyres, if no choice is there goto some suspension shop in your town and get RUBBER ( not metal ) spacer inserted into all 4 shock absorbers

brother i am really thankfull to you......spacers with this tyre size i can easily go with 5 people in my car through every bump now.....my main concern was these bumps because my travelling is on bumpy roads lekin....road side mechanic yehi baatain kr rhy thy k yeh hoga woh hoga....ab yahan baat kr k thora sakoon ho gya hy....apki itne quick replies ka bohat shukria

stop being Cynical, please you can read write & understand english you have some edge over such class of tin box tree shed mechanics.

test any mechanic rather play around,

visit random workshops in your town ask them if they can perform compression test for your vehicle, see their faces. 90% will be lost and start telling you stories...... ! .... listen smile & walk away.

@capsat, bro what is the difference between metalic and rubber spacers. I'm asking because I recently changed rear suspension of my car and the mechinc put in metalic spacers.

i have always noticed pick speed and millage issues whenever i changed to big tyres...

stick to stock tyres...size

rubber spacers make less sound and does not damage or cause wrinkle in spring + shock absorber slot, the metal ones they make rattling noise and de-shape the spring +shock absorber slot

@homeboy whats your opinion for metal spacers in suspension please share

I had a recent experience of metal spacers, the don't bend that easy but can and will damage the body since the spring/shock will transfer the impact directly to the body. plus there will be more rattle and noise.
Metal ones can cause the wrinkle in the spring as mentioned by @capsat .

@syed2003 boss always go for rubber. Metals can be used for additional lift but that too is not recommended. since lift required alot of other changes............ rest don't blindly trust the mechanics not all of them are tech savy (as they are supposed to be)........ learn from people who have first hand experience and then spend the money. best of luck
