Tyre for vitz 2017

I want to purchase new tyres for my vitz 2017. Guidance required for same w.r.t brand to be purchased ( i don't need Chinese) and size to be purchased company recommendation is 165/70/R14. Also share some good dealer contact for purchase in Karachi

Regarding brands; Michelin, Pirelli and Continental are the brands to go.

If tight on budget, then Bridgestone, and lastly Dunlop.

You can buy any series of these brands which matches your budget, but prefer to go for all season / all weather tyres, or, if vehicle will only be driven in Karachi, then summer tyres can also work.

Regarding size, you can go as high as 185/70/R14.

It'll provide sufficient ground clearance without need of any spacers / packing. Fuel efficiency will also not get disturbed.

Sometimes, authorized dealers also sell smuggled tyres, as profit margins are more in such cases. Beware of such dealers.

I heard that if you increase the tire size or making it wider then fuel deficiency may occur. isn't it ?

Yes Dear. Totally Agreed!

However, in case of Vitz, and 185/70/R14 tyre size on stock 14" steel rims, fuel efficiency won't be affected much.

Its as per feedback from some Vitz owners, who installed 185/70/R14 tyres on stock 14" steel rims.
