Nowadays pressure advice is more for reasons of responcibility. In earlyer days it was calculated for the expected axle-weight and speed, but sometimes proved to be to to low because of overweigt and or unequal weight R/L.
Thying to find a balance in this , different advices are given. Also advice now is kept high, wich can give discomfort and bad gripp.
