Should i get 195/65 r15 or 205 65 r15 or something else ?

IMO, 195/65/R15 would best suit 1.3L Corolla GLI, considering fuel efficiency (although minor affect, but still), suspension, etc.

If u mostly drive with 4/5 persons with full trunk then use 205/65/15 n it will give u a gud ride but difference of about .3 km per litre in average n in the long run a bit earlier wear of suspension .
But if u have simple 2/3 person drive then use 195/65/15 but a bit soft tyre n u will save suspension,fuel,meter error, less play in tyres on cornering , less sinking on high speeds etc . So 195/65 is better suited.

Don do that ,215/65 will be hell . The Civic will become as Corolla 2007 kept by a paindu with keeping packing 2 to 3 inches to uplift it under rear shocks ........gaddaa.Aero dynamics on high speed will be changed. Bump obsorption behaviour of car will be changed. the meter error will be huge .

ma czn has installed yoko 225/55/16 on his Civic which has changed not only fuel average but also change of pattern of wear of rear tyres more aggressive.
Mostly Civic owners don't rotate their tyres after 5/10 k km front to rear cross n they don't know that due to genuine rear camber angle fault in this model the rear tyres of Civic 16 to 19 from inside line wear out more than line of outside of tyre. U can urself check the Civic tyres mostly from rearview as will show shape of // \ rather ll ll . Due to non rotation mostly Civic rear tyres are worn out earlier from inside line.
Sorry for a bit off topic as Civic lovers will chase me to prove guilty of starting war Civic Corolla so stick to 215/55/16.
In this range tyre point has exclusive range of tyres.
You may opt michilin, Conti, Yoko. I suggest u to go for michilin. N if not to opt these premium brand then federal fd2 formoza .

I have made a comparison of 195/65r15, 205/60r15 and 205/55 r15 and checked the revs/mile. Screenshot are attached. According to this 205/55r15 will provide highest revs/mile. Please advise for corolla gli 2020

I would sincerely suggest you to stick with the stock size, which in case of your ride, is none other than 195/65/R15.

In my Vitz, I up-sized from 165/70/R14 to 185/65/R15 (increase in width as well as rim size, and ground clearance), and deeply repented and regretted later.

Only plus point was Ground Clearance. Steering and Ride became hard, fuel efficiency dropped and I had to take extra care, otherwise, suspension ka bera garak ho jata.

If you would like to up size, then go for at max. 205 mm wide tyres, but not wider than 205 mm in any case, and also take care for ground clearance (that whether you would like to keep it same, decrease it, or further increase it).

I am using 205/65 R15. In my opinion its the best size for corolla. Tyre is continental ultracontact 6.
It isn't available in sizes smaller then that. At first I was hesitant with this size, but after fitting it I found it way better then 195/65 R15.
Road grip has increased substantially. It eats potholes like nothing. I'm facing no issues related to fuel economy either. It's optimum, and steering is lighter then before. I would highly recommend same tyre and size.
