Tyre Recommendations Needed for Gli 2017 (195/65/R15)

Assalamualaikum

I am looking to change the tyres of my Corolla Gli 2017 with little experience of tyre buying. Currently I have Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 with almost 50% tread left.

I live in a hilly area with not so good roads hence soft tyres is not an option. Plus I travel on motorway once a month (around 500kms) so fuel economy is an added concern. Considering all these factors kindly recommend me good tyres and respective authorized dealers in Islamabad/Peshawar/Abbottabad region.

From what I have found online I have shortlisted following tyres:

1. Michelin Energy Saver+
2. Michelin Energy Saver XM2
3. Dunlop Veuro VE303
4. Bridgestone Ecopia (Don't know the latest number)

But I suggest a tyre fully compatible to roads of Pak n seasons.
Federal formoza fd2 . Mud n snow. Temperature A. Treadwear 420 . Not fully soft but soft. Speed rating v.
Sixty k km milage with ease. Made in Taiwan. Low noise.

Currently me n my czns all r using in Corollas .civics etc except my grande FL genuine Yoko n they r 200% satisfied. At Sargodha it's available with Shafqat tyres. At faisalabad shehzad traders. Kachehry road.
Already used all kinda tyres Yoko to michilin conti etc but these r more than that u may experience if any one want. 100 percent non smuggled. Rest is ur choice . Michilin xm energy s also gud option but toti roads pe not recommended.

I'm using continental ultracontact 6 commonly called as uc6. Minimum size that comes in this tyre is 205/65 R15. It's the smalles size available for uc6. This is the most expensive tyre that comes in 15 inch size. I got similar routes as you got which includes villages and motorways. This tyre is a complete package coz of hard tread and super soft sidewall. You can protect sidewalls easily. It's noiseless, comfortable, super grippy in wet or dry and super durable. If you're able to find it then must get it.
Michelins that you have mentioned will not survive any type of rough roads.

Shafqat traders Sargodha is main importer of federal tyres.
Many tyres brands have no authorised dealershipers in Pakistan n have only importers. I never find sheikh brothers or michilin distributor on their website rather they v developed own website with PK.com.
If there is distributor then
I am searching michilin cross climate plus 205/55/16 for last 1 year from any importer but they refused to import.
One of ma friend importer said that they pick the sizes from factory which are lowest at rate . Sometimes due to late shipment to Europe or America from factory situated malasia or Japan the consignment is cancelled by buyer n our Pakistani importers take that order as hot cake due to concession. that's why even importers suggest u that upgrade ur tyre size n ka ye size a nai raha. Advan DB 552 in size 205/55/16 is an example as not available in import.
Most tyres r having import n export through sea route. Consignment Karachi excise se pass krwana b ek azab ha.
Conti cc6 s noisy tyre. India humse tyres ma buhat agay ha even they v local factories of top brands in their country.

I installed lm 704 dunlop 215 55 r16 in my GLI with grande rims. I am regretting my decision.
Now please advise if I should change tyre size to 205/60 r 16 in dunlop veuro or should i go to back to 15 inches again.

I think it is not always like that.

In case of many companies, like Yokohama for example, when you go to the parent website of that company and enter your country, you get links to their details.

They might cost somewhere around 60-65K for 4 tyres. May be slightly lower than this, but check / confirm yourself.

Spring n damping force is changed in FL grande. Even in FL gli it's damping force is changed than pre fl

It's also a fact that True dealership means some responsibilities n variety of product, claim of warrantee. In Pak there s none as no practicalism

I cannot comment any further on it, however, can just say: Unfortunately, things here work in this manner only (due to many reasons).

Even a lay man can check while pushing trunck towards floor keeping hands on it and rebound will tell u damping force story. FL Corolla will give u rebounds with flexibility and car will go under and above with push of hands and weight. Whereas pre FL Corolla will not show any flexibility n less rebounds . So FL suspension is flexible n pre FL s bit hard n can't give flex to 16 inch wheels wid less rubber in sidewall of tyres.

Bro on this web I can't check treadwear , noise level, plies numbers, European level etc detailed data sheet of tyres. So these r just a web portal n mentioning name of importer nothing more than that. No feedback or results collected from Pak .
