Temporary solution can be to have it repaired via stitching (or any other suitable method), and then apply glue or sealant, so that it works, and its strength meets / exceeds the original sidewall.
Tyre repair guys know how to repair such tyres (you just need to find a pro one), however, I fear, it'll not work in the long run.
So as a best solution, and as also suggested by other respected fellow members, do not take the risk and have this tyre replaced with a non-damaged one (new or used, it depends on your budget).
