But remember one important thing: Even authorised dealers sometimes sell smuggled tires and may not let you know. They get more profit margins in selling smuggled tires. So exercise caution while buying tires.

I ended up getting Michelin XM2 for my civic 2013, inflated to 32 PSI. Initial impressions, ride is much smoother and quieter, even while driving at 110km/h (max I did today). Tire soak up expansion joints and small imperfections in the road. I don't why some people said that XM2 are harsh tires.

Haven't had time to test brakes (since tires are new) but steering response feels the same.

XM2 is very good and long life tire. It can last upto 100k kms if properly taken care of.

yes dear, i went to their location they were kinda shifting phase. so couldn't talk much there, but they guided me to their authorised dealer, some MS traders. well also came to know that they are also importing nankang brand as well. so i was inclined to those for cost effectiveness but they were almost similar to bridgestone and also didnt know about how soft these are. i haven't bought yet the tires. but have made my mind on bridgestone techno as this is the only model available in 185/70R13 size.

Xm2 are good tires but as far as comfort is concerned they are not comparable to cc6 and v552. But then grip wise the two are not comparable with xm2. Xmw out-classes them during dry and wet grip performance

1. Yoko BluEarth at 12500 from SpeedTyre or Michelin XM2 from authorized dealer?
2. Authorized dealer of Michelin?

I'm happy with XM2, they're not harsh - as some people pointed out and much more comfortable than the OEM General. No tire noise while turning either.

I know Faisal town tyre shop area has an authorized dealer, however, we ended up getting it from an unauthorized one. Basically, I called a dealer, he said that he is authorized and he will provided a warranty card etc. But when I got to the shop in Montgomery road and looked at the tire - it didn't have warranty card/sticker. Then the shop owner said "sir yahan saray hi smuggled aa rahay hain". I was too tired to do anymore research and drive around in hot May weather to find an authorized dealer so I bought through him. If you search old threads you'll find a list of MIchelin dealers in Lahore

Everyone who raves on about Yokos had the AdvanDB - which were Not available when I was shopping. BluEarth, I have no idea about, since very few people on this site have long term experience with those.

I've decided to go with Pirelli Cinturato P1 from authorized dealers Saleem Tyres. One of the main reasons is the price and the guarantee of them being imported through proper manners. I still can not find a decent store with original Michelin.

12500 is the rate i also got for yokohama but the dealer was insisting to buy goodyear which was also available at same rate

Wise choice. These tires are not going to disappoint you. A little cheaper than yokos and michelin also i believe

Both are excellent but bluearth es32 is way better grip wise.
