Tyres for Liana Lxi (ABS)

Need advice on what tyres should I use in Liana Lxi with 14" Alloys, as the previous ones dunlop sport 185/65 r14, need replacement and i am thinking of changing the make this time.
My priority is grip as the car porch is inclined with marble tiles and with the current tyres it usually fail to get in the porch whereas my khyber with nexen does it without any problem.
The tyres should be silent, tough and should ensure good cornering and braking.

Please recommend tyres according to above requirements with Brand, size and model .

just got dunlop sp sport 200 (not my verdict but my little brother made his own choice). I am not sure about the tyres that how is the wet grip, turning, handling etc.

had any body tried these,any reviews?

My problem would have been that I do not know the local conditions, so my recommendations would not have helped as good as the local experts who already posted.

Generally though, all that makes your car work is four little patches of rubber contacting the road. Handling, brakes, acceleration, turns, rain, slippery conditions, you name it.

Getting the best tires one can get is probably a better "performance modification" than all the spoilers and sound systems and cold air intakes in the world in my opinion.

Are these your selection? They seem a perfectly fine choice for a Liana under typical driving conditions in Pakistan I would think.

Can you please explain the advantages of tyres with rotation (the arrow showing the direction of rotation on the tyre)

The tread design does not appear to be directional. Is there an arrow indicating which way the tire should rotate?

Rotational tyres are usualy noisy tyres, but they give very good braking.

Yokohama no doubt amazing tyres but they are too soft and wear out very quickly and not recomended for rough roads.

I am using LM 703 they are performing well.

Oh okay now I understand.

Directional tires offer better wet perfromance since they are a little better at extracting water at high due to their tread design, and this factor is more important for wide to very wide tires. This reduces the chances of hydroplaning.

The problem is that they cannot be rotated from side to side unless they are completely dismounted and remounted and rebalanced. This means that their tread can wear unevenly and becomes noisy (sometimes quite loudly) as the tires age.

For the type of driving and vehicles in Pakistan, I would suggest staying away from directional tires, but that is only my opinion. Some people like them for cosmetic reasons and I respect that too.
