Currently the tyres that are in my car are FALKEN 155/65/R13.Suggest me good tyres with right size? Should I stick with the same low profile size or try 155/70/R13? I am not sure that slight bigger diameter tyre will look odd on such a small car or not? Finally what brand tyre should I go for?
does your car really need tyre change ? stick to the size which came on car. If tyre change is needed go for Yokohama Tubeless
Hmmmm, the rear tyres are almost finished but front are still good to go few thousand kilometers. Although there is no puncture issue. The ride is little bit bumpy due to low profiles..... but confused that car might look odd on 70/R13 in place of 65/R13?
Yokohama mein konse tyres? S-707 or something else?
i think you should stick to the company recommended profile..or else one thing will get good and other will go bad....
p.s as you are the owner of mira.. i want to know what dose "S" gear do?any 0-100 timing?
in small cars , 155 70 12 is good size
Mine does not have got S gear! your car must be having CVT gearbox.
??????
Bump....
Bump bump bump
How much your fuel average u get from mira for City and Highway driving?
Better to stick with company recomended size. And Yokohama brand is best.
Has anyone tried 155/70/R13 size tyre in mira or jap alto? Would it look odd or is it fine?
the difference in two tyre sizes is only 8 mm which is not too big. The difference will be highly noticeable as per my reckoning.
are you sure highly noticeable or barely noticeable?
155/65/14 is the standard size on a Mira custom. I think that is the max you should go for.
155/65r13 finding imported tires wont be easy, and i guess the general tires on Cultus are 155-80r13
Try your luck. or order tires, Other wise try tiresize calculator and get something with or under 3% difference.
Bro simply go for 165/65/13 the tyre is easily available in different brands im using nexen directionals though zeetex is a bit better and check the manufacturing date to be 2012 the rubber should be soft to the touch you will have better traction, braking and comfort at the same time good fuel economy when properly inflated in summer go for 28 psi all around in winters go 30 psi all around and you'll be fine expect to pay 5000 + - 200 for a single tyre hope this helps
Btw i just realized, Mira's tire size is 145 not 155.
155/70R13 is easily available in market and that is not that low profile. beyond 70 profile i guess tyres enter in LT category (light truck) so u ll lack road grip and breaking ll also be not tht good. so stick to the size.yoko is best option available locally.
