- been using uber daily for the last six months . ( i have 3 cars at home ) . Never had an issue, never had a problem.
cars are on time, precise, neat , clean and drivers are good . the fare is very reasonable except surge times
my wife / mother / dad all use uber .
i have never faced billing issue since all trips are charged to my credit card. i have complete record of every journey with driver name and route .
i have taken more than 100 rides on uber and the only issues i faced were as follows :-

1. Uber called for my wife

my wife had to come home from canal to DHA. i called her uber . the driver was new ( btw it was a prius). he repeatedly got lost and took a longer time to reach home. i sent uber support feed back and within two days , i was reimbursed the extra amount and apology note.
2. early start :-
on my 100 + rides, i ve never faced early start issue except once when the driver started with out me . i called him to cancel and sent feedback to uber support . got my money back and the driver, i was told, was being investigated and possibly suspended
presently, uber has a local IT team for support operations , yet they are in the process of establishing a proper office as well .
ive never used careem but see many uber drivers tell me they were on careem and left it to join uber simply because no one uses careem anymore. the cars arrive after ages and you miss flight and meetings . its expensive too .
uber algorithm, payment processing, email , feedback and overall QC is another level vs careem which is just a cheap uber copy rip off.
true, there are bad sheeps, but uber system makes sure that low rated drivers are filtered out of the system altogether. after second suspension ( after an incident ) , uber bans you permanently. in short, only good drivers get rides and stars
drivers driving slow ? never faced that as well . infact, some drive a bit fast .
the only issue with uber is that they have started taking suzuki mehrans on board and riders cancel requests when seeing a mehran ,LOL .
