I would would choose careem over uber, But recently careem also increased their prices and uber has surge thing. For me almost all rides end up costing 500-750 as per that own car is cheaper.

I've used as Rider, Partner and now Alhamdulilah I have a small fleet of 5 cars running on uber... I agree with most of the people... Their support service is ShiiiiiiiT. No office, only contact no's of a few employees who control and regulate payments.

Most of the time they don't attend calls.
I have a few experiences like my driver went on leave and when he came back, we were surprised to know that he was suspended for one day....

Tried calling them and after 3/4 hours they responded that there was a technical issue with system...

They seem very very amateur, they change their payment policies every week... Not sticking to just one Final criteria.

Careem however, listens !

If you have remained online for 3hrs and u got no rider calls then uber will pay you 350 x 3 = 1050/- as guarantee earning. Similarly, if you got only one call during 3hrs and the fare of that rider was 600/- then uber will give u 450/- hourly guarantee ( 1050 - 600 = 450 ) to make sure you earn at an avg of 350/hr

If u earn more than the guarantee amount then you will be exempted from hourly guarantee. The extra earning is all yours.

There r other bonuses as well, like if you complete 40,60 80 trips in a week you will be rewarded with bonus cash.

All these bonuses / incentives are free from uber fee

I have been informed that there is a way to cheat Uber for hourly use, people ask some partner to ask for a ride and then keep themselves busy(pending) for many hours without actually moving, so they get many hours money at 350/hour and at the end of the day do some real trips to avoid suspicion.
Another way is to ask a partner for a ride and the driver makes trips on motorcycle(uber can't know you are actually on a motorcycle), do the trips and earn from the number of trips bonus plus online hours time :).
One of the person earned as high as 40,000 in one week without actually doing trips and using above techniques.

I think u didn't get about the motorcycle thing, the person who is asking for a ride is not an actual passenger, he is a friend of driver who selects the driver through app, then the driver without actually having him as passenger moves from one point to other, they close the trip, his partner closes and accepts the trips, rates the driver from his home and it is over
And all this is a use of the loophole in the system and app and i am not endorsing it, just informing.

i rate every trip after a ride and give feed back to uber , i would advice all riders to do the same since the quality of service in this sharing economy is feed back dependent. tell uber if a driver does some thing incorrect, even as minor as crossing a red light , you inform uber .

There will be no waiting time since driver will accept the ride invitation but will not start the ride from his app so charges will not be applied.

Maximum waiting time as per policy is 10 minutes... After that you're bound to either START TRIP or END it. Failure to do so will add it to the suspicious trips category

This makes no sense. If the passenger is a friend and is not going to pay you, how would you get paid by uber.

uber doesnt take cars below 2010 make on its fleet . ive been riding on uber since march and never saw a second gen vitz let alone a relic 1st generation one .

generally, all cars are new corollas and cities , wagonRs and even a prius here and there

Can any one uber partner tell that if a person drive his car by himself as a captain (wagon r vxl) 8 hours in a day for 26 days per months, then how much he can earned in uber in month after excluding fuel/ maintanance charges ????
