Asalam o Alaikum Respected Members, I have a 1996 Toyota Corolla 5A-FE with Automatic transmission. I will be attaching two videos with this post, to make the problem which I am facing more clear.
Electrician whom I know took out the ECU/ECM, for diagnosis and reports that the ECU can be replaced/repaired, the ECU is faulty as per his diagnosis. I am not satisfied, so I told him to reconnect the ECU and I have done the diagnosis on my own, the error codes which I am getting are 13 and 43 respectively.
- Code 13 after searching is Rpm signal to ecu missing above 1000 rpm
- Code 43 No starter signal to the ecu
Now I want your guidance the seniors especially that, what is the problem is it due to malfunctioning ECU or the codes which I have mentioned are doing this.
