Unable to unlock my Toyota Aqua 2013

yesterday i was unable to unlock my Aqua, usually i dont have to unlock form eth keyless remote as it gets unlock it self when im close to the car but i didnt happen yesterday and when i tried to unlock form the remote it didnt work, i noticed that there was something blinking on the display may be some lock option but i didnt get it and after few minutes i was able to unlock form the remote but im worried why it happened what was the red light which was blinking on the display while the car was locked i never noticed that before.

thanks for the reply this is my first car so i dont what to do or where to go to get the remote and security system checked

Check remote's cell may be its about to dead.

Don't worry. Not a big issue. You just need to replace your remote's cell. In market cells are third class quality. Try finding original and high quality cell and replace cell.

the light blinking in the dashboard is Immobilizer indicator. it always blink whenever the car is parked and Locked. so no need to worry,

and for the issue of not unlocking , as other members said the remote's battery might be weak so just get a new battery cell for the remote.

the Immobilizer indicator you mentioned has a car sign with a lock on it and its blinking when turn off teh engine even the doors are locked,, that never appeared before... or may be i didnt notice it before.. that really made me worried...

Perhaps remote battery is weak, is it Keyless version or key version.
Keyless remote comes with CR1632 battery

Jazakallah to every one here who helped in real sense, i replaced the battery in the remote and all went well

I keep a spare key battery in my car.

thats red light is there in all aquas all the times when car is locked. so calm down and for a relief you may go check another aqua. and yes like everyone recommended the remote cell is weak and problem should completely resolve when that gets replaced.
