@Basharat...another mog come to life. Lacation: 1) Karachi 2) Lahore 3) Islamabad. 4) heard there is one in Mansehra owned by Doc Khatak.

Yes pls Doc Khatak Sb. has converted his Mog to Double cab and was planning a trip to Khunjrab in early summers. He also went for brake upgrade & using Cruising's shocks. He can also join us in our plan towards North!

Too bad I didn't know about the Mog in Manshera. It would have been nice to check it out as I was there about a week ago. I wonder how he got the TLC engine to fit and I hope he didn't change the tranny.

Brakes are being serviced today. Did you guys have to change the hub drive seals? I seem to have a leak in one wheel, might just be overfilling.

^^^only change the oil in hubs and watch for leaking as it only has upto half litre oil in hubs so the leaking means bad. and also while driving mog the temperature of hubs goes to 80d and without oil in hubs you can understand. yes there is a seal and you can change it with allimunium one.

Just a quick reply, the hub drive leak was indeed due to overfilling. Drained and refilled to the proper level and not leaking anymore. The first drive was great! undoubtedly, kinda bouncy and it is a vehicle that is going to take some getting used to. Too many levers! you know what I mean, DeeDee!

By the way, I would still be really stuck doing things to the truck if it wasn't for the help that DeeDee has given. Thanks bro!

Yup, Doc Sbs mog is running non a Japnese engine but with same gearbox.His mog look like a Doka version

Referring to gearbox, we would need to issue a recommended gearing as per terrain based on off-road expereince.

sir you are welcome and its good that you are friendly with mog. she will take you where other stop :). ya its has a bouncy ride but as @Basharatu said that drive become comfortable with load of 6 guys sitting on the back of truck, so always travel in a group.

if you understand the proper use of too many levers and gearing ratios you will enjoy the ride and good to hear that 4x4 is working and believe me i did nothing and being a mogster myself it was my duty

if we the mogster will not help eachother in getting our ride fixed, who else gona help us and that you have experienced by talking to different machenics.

It would be great to see some pics of Doc Sahib's ride. A doka lookalike sounds very interesting. It would also be nice to see how he got another engine to fit into that space!

Need look for the same fro some IJC member. I saw the pics in a cell phone on an IJC event, Doc Sb. has used the same front door @ the back as well, it was looking good!

@Sarmad, Rizwan- all is well, bros. DeeDee has been very helpful with what little work was needed and with a lot of guidance and advice. The Moggy is enjoying itself in the badlands of Baluchistan these days. One change I do want to make is changing the coil springs to something less stiff. Other than that, I wish it had more speed on the highway. Offroad, it is flawless. Just lock the diffs, put it in low and let it crawl its way up hill and down dale.
