@Basharatu: Yup, thanks for the advice. Actually, the pump seems quite simple as long as the adjustment isn't messed with. I'm not too sure what you mean by the rear frame. There really isn't much on the bed. Benches on either side (poor jawans!) and a rear gate.

Take the pump to a desiel laboraty and get it serviced and also the nozzles. next get the self (starter) checked and service if required. next check the desiel in the tank. next check the battries fully charged and clear the fuel airlocking and start the beast.

remember while unbolting the self you will find a spacer. if its there than remember to put it while bolting it back.

Basharat is right it has the same engine of Merc car 240D so relaxe from parts side

@DeeDee: Will do that bro. I did take the starter motor out today and tucked away the spacer safely (learned that from reading your earlier thread!). It, unfortunately, seems to be completely dead. Will take care of that while the pump is being taken care of. You Mog looks great without a dala, by the way.

DeeDee, same Guy had very clean dala's too, since he had cut all mogs, sold the chasis sperately. I will Update U on this. I am not sure about meters, saw them in his inventory, will check the same on next visit!

I am planning to visit Golra Depot in this week & will try to get a copy of Service Manual from there for all Mog Members.

A quick update: I was going to leave town today but didn't so I can continue to work on the machine. The starter seems to have two problems, its pinion and its switch. The pump seems to have a very minor issue, its feed valves. Hopefully, I'll get this stuff done today. I now know why this machine was in storage. The wiring and fuse box have been replaced. No idea why, but I suspect that is what caused the starter motor problems. Maybe they hooked up the battery jumper cables incorrectly. Nonetheless, 1st step, get the starter motor done, check the wiring and relay to it and do a compression check, followed by the pump.

Okay guys, got the starter motor and pump fixed while the electrician verified the wiring to the starter. Well, started right up after I checked the compression and manually pumped the pump for a bit and took her for a short drive! Brakes seem to have a bit of a problem and the gauges need checking, both oil pressure and water temp. Will check the brake cylinders tomorrow.
