Unique, Super Power, Union Star or Super Star

Hey frnds i need your help..

I am going to buy a new 70cc motorbike in a couple of weeks but i am confused about the selection of brand among Union Star, Unique, Super Power and Super Star..
A dealer told me that Unique 2012 model is not durable. They advised me to go for Union Star or Super Star..

If any of the members owns 2012 model of any of above mentioned brands, plz do share their experiences as well as performance of their bikes..

Suggestions will be appreciated ..

I think go for Unique. Because many of Karachi Members owns it and they told that it works flawlessly.

UniQue Khi main boht chl rhi hy to better resale value bhi hogi.Or 09 model to acha chla tha mry pas wd out any prob.

My suggestion is go for Eagle Firebird DG70 if your budget is 50k.

If you are low on budget then go for unique bike. don't listen to dealers they want to sell their products that's y they confuse customers.

it sounded very similar to cg 125
and that is the first eagle i have seen in my town

It really does sound like 125 but you will notice roar difference bcoz of engine. Believe me or not many peoples asked me about my bike. many of them asked me did I installed this silencer my self ?

The firebird u saw if it was brand new then there are 100% chances the sound was original. Who want to ditch 125 sound and go for after market mufler baan baan sound ?

I don't have a good camera but i will try to post my firebird mufler sound video.

Bro my bike is still in running period so far it is done around 330km on speed o meter so i can't tell you about fuel mileage. once running stage wl achieve which is 1000km. i will tell you.

i bought in 47k after wasting much of my time and negotiation with firebird dealer from mcleod road lahore.

What is your budget ?

If you can arrange 44k then go for this bike RAVI PREMIUM R1 70CC | Ravi Motorcycles It is not firebird but it is sibling of FB.

You can you have to try. they might not give blue color in 47k but you can negotiate.

If i go for FireBird so it means i will be spending 6000 or 7000 more in comparision of other chinese bikes like unique or super star etc..
Are the additional features of FireBird (Muffler, RPM meter) are worthy for this additional amount of 6000 or so???

2- Analoge electronic RPM meter
3- Fuel tank is diffrent shape
4- Head light cowling
5- Tail light and winkers are LED
6- Front fender ABS
7- Rear Fender powder coated.
8- Seat is wider and comfortable.

I bought my bike in Feb 2012. I got almost every brand bike price before buying fire bird.

take a look on prices and decide ur self. Following are Feb 2012 Prices.

• AHL 70 = Was not in my list
• CRYL = 38,500 Was not in my list
• Metro = 40,000 Was not in my list
• PakHero = Production Halt
• United = 41,000
• Road prince = 42,500 Was not in my list
• Road prince luxury model like Ravi R1 = 44,500
• Ravi Premium R1 = 44,000
• Super Asia = 43,000
• Dhoom = 47,000

I was trying to find 100cc which i could not. Even unique UD 100 was not there. Whole market was filled with 70cc bikes. I was finding Ghani and Pakhero. Ghani was vanished pak hero production closed. Dhoom didn't deserve the 47k price tag. Then i thought lets check firebird bcoz of their TV advertisement. Dealer tried to impress me by starting bike and saying bla bla bla.

when i compared this bike with others i thought i am going to spend that much amount then why not spend a bit more and get some thing different then ordinary yuki & bitter 70c.

When i saw the bike i thought it should be 45k or maximum 47k not more then that. dealer was quoting me 49k. When you compare this bike with its 2 competitors Ravi Premium R1 and Road prince R1 i think eagle fire bird justified the price. 44k vs 47k (in my opinion)

I already said if you want a simple standard 70 then go for United or any other brand but if you want something different then Ravi r1 or Firebird can be consider. Don't blame me if you buy this bike and it doesn't meet your expectations I am not responsible for that. I am just sharing my experience with all of you. Eagle Group don't give me a single penny for selling their bike or they are not my relatives.

Read below what Eagle gives you.

Initial Thoughts:

• Good road grip might be due to 90KG weight, I never drove such heavy 70cc bike.
• Smooth Ride.
• Most comfortable 70cc bike i ever drove.
• Really its a pleasure to drive i never felt i am riding a simple 70cc bike.
• I agree with company advertisement words "70 mein 125 k mazay"
• Fuel tank paint job is not good. I think they have done 1 coat/layer on fuel tank but its my guess only, nice trick to save much bucks.

Pros +

• RPM option
• Eagle wings shape, Curvy Fuel Tank Design
• Overall bike stickers designing is very good
• Similar sound & muffler like AHL 125
• Sporty looks
• Front Light Hood
• Matt Black Rear steel mudguard
• Black Fiber Front mudguard
• Dual side LED Indicators, Red and Orange color
• Elegant looking rear light + design
• Comfortable seat, better then other 70cc bikes seats and I found it more nice then AHL 125 seat. Also I compare the size as well, Firebird seat length is more then AHL 125

Cons -

• Fuel tank paint quality is low, paint quality is same as other bikes brands which comes in similar price range, except AHL.
• Rear Tyre brand Diamond was not good just did warranty claim and got new Service Tyre off course free
