Unknown Noise in my cultus 2006

Salam everyone. I am here to get solution for my cultus 2006. Sometimes ago suddenly I feel some unknown noice from my engine which goes off when press the clutch. I went to the mechanic he told me that this is caused by low level of gear oil and then he fill 1 ltr gear oil in gear box and that sound goes off. It has been obsrved that when I start my car after 15 or 24 hours, that noice come for some time which goes off when press the clutch as observed when engine warm up it goes of again.
What's the issue? Pl. Suggest what to do?

Input shaft bearing issue of gearbox.......live with it or if too annoyed .....open gearbox and change it.....,..this happens when u Don't change gear oil or drive with low gearoil for a long time

Brother dont woery at all. I had faced this issue in my cultus 2006 in past. Infact this issue arose in winter specially.
Change gear oil, if it still doesn't go away then still there is no serious problem.
I know this noise is annoying but its alright.

Change to fully synthetic 75W-90 or 75W-85 API GL4 or API GL5 gear oil. Gear oil poured by Suzuki is assumed to be of not good quality and start causing issues after some time.

switching to quality gear oil will improve the life of your gear box and smoothness of the ride.

Don't put gl-5 in gearbox.....it will eat brass synchros

m not sure about that. arent GL5 suppose to be backward compatible with GL4 application?

Nop.....gl5 has EP additives which destroy brass synchros in fwd tranny

all GL5?? always? i dont think cultus has any brass parts in its gearbox.

i understand your point and will re verify it.

however just as a personal experience, GL5 oils are superior to GL4 and i have actually used GL5 in my margalla for extensive period of time without any issues.

anyways ur point is valid and i will re check it thanks for sharing.

GL 5 have extreme pressure additives and better detergents......which are overkill in a small car or pickup....however they are beneficial in heavy machinery which use straight cut gears,in differential which have extreme pressure in pinion and bevel gears......in non synchronized transmissions of heavy trucks,tractors and crane.......which have tons of load.....imagine a 22 wheeler with tons of load hauling on a steep incline vs our normal sedan ....otherwise gl5 spec oils are better suited to gears and differentials
