Unprofessional work and behaviour of Khan Poshish Makers Chah Sultan, Rawalpindi

I recently got seat covers and door panel upholstery done from Khan Poshish Makers located in Chah Sultan Rawalpindi (pic attached) . I was referred to them by a car mechanic who told me they were quite good at their work. I went there and so began my trial and bad luck. They instantly offloaded my seats and door panels and assured me they will be ready by the next day. The next day I went there in the afternoon only to find that they had not even initiated working on my seats. It was only then that they started working on it and told me that everything will be ready by the evening. I sat there listening to the useless talk of the shop owner who is quite talkative and talks incessantly about himself. By then I had started regretting my decision to visit the place, but didn't know that it was just the beginning of the trial. I waited there till 11 PM, when the guy told me that the job was done except for minor work which will be done the next day. Hurriedly they "fixed" seats and door panels in the car and asked me to visit next day. Too exhausted to make sure their work quality, I left. But soon realized that everything was done miserably. The door panels were done in the most unprofessional manner. The pieces were cut so that the metal below was visible at the panel edges. The glue was spilled all over the door which made it look worse than before. They had used screws for the door buttons other than the original ones, and these protruded out of the panel surface because of misfit. The seats were fixed pathetically which generated extreme noise. Many screws and nuts & bolts were missing altogether! Overall it was a pathetic job, and the interior looked worse than it was before. I went to the shop the next day as per commitment, and they told me that now they had three government vehicles to do, and that I should visit after a day. My patience had worn out by then, but I had made full payment, and didn't know what to do with them. I visited after a day and told them to re-do the door panels. They uninstalled the panels, and told me to visit next day as it will take time. The next day, I went there only to see the shop closed. I called them up and they told me that it was a raining and they don't work in rain! When I tried to protest at how pathetic they were in their work and attitude, the guy hung up and switched off his phone. Now I don't know what to do and how to deal with such thugs.

Sorry buddy for bad experience. But the problem here is you are at fault. You are not supposed to let anyone sniff your hard earned money till the job is donw to your satisfaction. Also cha sultan has ALOT of jugaari and 2 number people who should be VERY closely observed. ANY type of poshish work takes 2-3 hours. If they have to stitch the covers of your choice u are supposed to take car home and come back after a day. Installation only takes 2-3 hours MAX including door panels, usually door panels take another extra house so the glue takes it time to cure.

Now that you have made the payment there is very little to nothing you can do.

You mentioned about using screws rather the original OEM tabs to reinstall the door panel. If i were you that guy would have been using screws to chew his food instead of his teeth.

The damage is done. Please do share pics of bad experience, the car and the bad workmanship.

Well dears. I got my vitz 2013.. corolla 2 d saloon 2008 seat cover installed after taking proper size from Toyota capital... it was best stitching i ever had.. and for vitz you can't even recognise if these are after market ..i will recomend it
