Hope you all are doing good. i am facing an issue in my car and need your expertise in suggesting the wayout. i own toyota corolla altis 1.6 automatic 2018 model which has a milage of 55000 km. The car is well kept and so far the car is quite on road with no issues. I change the engine oil and filter at proper intervals. Coming over to the issue. My car engine sound was neglible/very less as that of a low milage/new car. Last month due to excessive long travelling suddenly the engine has developed a strange noise. The noise is heard when the car is in 1st and 2nd gear (auto transmission) in between 1700 to 2100 rpm. As soon as the rpm crosses 2100 or with little more pedal the noise vanishes off. And in 3rd and 4th gear as the rpm usually remains above 2100, the noise is not heard. Its difficult for me to explain the type of sound but it is like engine is overstressed. Sort of grinding noise. Noise is like engine ki awaz normal sai loud hokar phat phat rahi hoti hay for few seconds till it reach 2100 rpm and the gear changes. And it comes back to normal when the car accelerates beyond 2100 rpm. One thing more when you take the car out for the first time in the day, the sound is not heard for initial 5 to 6 kms but after that it starts to be audible.
Additional points : i have not changed the transmission oil yet since i bought this car. Spark plugs are not changed yet.
Only things i changed since i bought this car are engine oil, oil filter and cabin filtet.
Need your time and sincere advice to overcome this problem. Looking forward to your reply. Thankyou
