12th gen seems like a far dream. IMC knows that people can’t afford their current gen, let alone buying the 12 gen. So, according to my predictions, IMC will continue to produce 11th gen with the exception of Xli/Gli since they will be replaced by Vious/Yaris in the near future.

Once(read: If) the slump in our auto industry is over and there is a recovery period, IMC should get to work on the TNGA platform which not only underpins the new corolla and the next gen Yaris but will also enable them to launch something like a RAV4 to retake the position that the now unfeasible Fortuner once held. Yes, they're not exactly comparable but the current generation of RAV4 is selling in huge numbers abroad and will give good competition to the KL sportage and future HN tucson.
Who knows, if the upcoming electric vehicle policy is any good, even a locally assembled RAV4 hybrid would be possible.
I'm no business expert but IMC won't survive for long by losing sales and raising prices every other month.

Everybody says spray wd-40 silicone spray on door rubber seals and then rub them with microfibre cloth haven’t tried yet

I mean, they have their reasons with the price increases. It's not like they would want to reduce the number of sales in an attempt to fetch more money with an individual sale. It's just that they need more transparency in their business if they want to thrive here for long.

In the absence of any competition from imports or new entrants, they will unfortunately not only survive but thrive. Sales will likely pick up again soon once the buyers adjust to the new reality.

Sportage is selling because of no competition in that price bracket. Price difference between Sportage and Fortuner is almost 3.5million (top variant) which is huge. Fortuner is not selling because of high price. If Indus lower the price of Fortuner (top variant) to 7million, no one will buy the Sportage.

Sportage is using major parts as import with huge subsidy on imported parts.. the Local supplier has not yet started with supply chain. What I think as soon as 2021 reach and the subsidy on parts drops and local parts comes into play, the prices of Sportage will jump. Technically it should get lower because of local parts but generally local PKDM cars still use a huge number of imported parts and same would be the case of Sportage.. around 60 to 70% import like rest of local PKDM. Regular duty structure comes into play and will effect Sportage pricing .. prices will jump. I am hopeful but unfortunately we might see lower quality of parts when local suppliers comes into play.

Additionally, internationally we will have new Sportage by end of 2020, we might keep same sportage for longer.

They ripped me off with Grande this year
I did not know that the quality of a 4 million rupees car has drained to this level
My old GLi 2012 was better in terms of quality at least no sounds even at 69000 kms
