If Corolla was scheduled for late 2020 by Indus, I dont see it happening. Worldwide there is backlog of supplies and especially automotive sector. Factories are locking down and production is halted and God knows when it will come to Normal.
I think late 2020 and early 2021 still can be good guess for Corolla. As of Rav4, I dont see it happening because alot of investment is needed for an entire new product and the way our economy is going even the existing products are not selling. I am sure car companies will be very skeptical about it before investing in anything new.
Yaris was under development since 2016/17 and it took them 3 years to launch a product. If Sportage sells, it's for the reason that Kia established plant at huge duty subsidies and got a green field status. They have large % of taxes and duties at lower rates.
For Indus that will be not the case. Even if they start making Rav4 today, they will hard time making it at the same cost as Sportage even in base form.
Dont be surprised, even 12th generation Corolla will have a higher price comparing 11th when Indus strat selling it, reason all new platform. I expect the 12th generation Corolla in fully loaded trim will hover around 4. Million mark easily.
