I don't see 12th gen booking or reveal before last quarter of 2022, let alone delivery before 2023.Won't be longer than 2023 as Indus isn't going to do a Honda Altas move and introduce a discontinued generation.
I’m sure you must have atleast some credible sources within indus to have any idea about the development/launch of the 12th gen.
In next 3 years? That means they have just started to upgrade the plant and may be it will take at least couple of years to introduce 12th gen alongwith corolla hybrid.
Very good news , will be the game changer.
03 years!!!
What do you think would they be able to bring non-hybrid Corolla earlier?
Meanwhile Toyota global just announced that it will be investing $14 billion in various aspects of battery technology. More models with their latest bipolar nickel-metal hydride battery (in the new Aqua) will be introduced in the future. Yaris for ASEAN countries might also get this tech.
the spread of investment is three years. the HEV kits will be imported just like the engine. i beleive they will convert one already existing assembly line for delivery of hybrids. we can see them preparing to launch Hybrid corolla as soon as the civic launch is ready.
Seems like 12th gen isn't coming before 2023Civic too
Impossible. It will be 5 years old by then and nearing the end of its lifecycle. There's no reason for Indus to keep delaying it anymore. Corolla X was their way of sending off 11th gen, 12th gen is not far off.
1.6 Altis with Grande features. Thoughts?
https://propakistani.pk/2021/09/09/toyota-imc-planning-to-launch-a-corolla-x-1-6-special-edition/
Seems like they are trying to clear the stock! 12th Gen is on its way
Yes probably. But if they manage to offer the 1.6 with CVT, this special edition could be a genuinely good car to buy.
is cruise available?
So no cvt? Bummer
Called Toyota walton and Toyota Jinnah and they are saying that hopefully booking will be started in next 2,3 days. No idea on pricing as of now.
What about features?
They dont have any idea as of now.
