Today I just walked around and drove Suzuki ATLO 660cc Pakistani variants and I found same mistakes in ALTO like Suzuki Mehran inferior quality IMMOBILISER, In my point of view this car is going to be most stolen car of Pakistan again like Suzuki Mehran,

I have been using alto since august and feel like its immobilizer is good enough..
I bought an aftermarket jack knife key for it but didn't work and i had to shift back to the original key..so i think it is good enough
On the other hand my honda City's so called immobilizer (or u can call it a teabag) has failed twice and have taken it to trackingworld to get it changed....so thats low quality if u ask me

According to what you are saying brother, Suzuki have similar keys in their cars (my swift and alto have same immobilizers) so all of the suzuki cars are vunerable to theft and should be a theif's favourite target.
Kindly support what you say with evidences or i guess its better to stay quiet.

This post is pretty useless. There is no data regarding stolen vehicles especially Alto nor any explanation given on why the immobilizer is of low quality.
Considering the fact that Toyota Corollas with immobilizer are also being stolen, I think it has more to do with new technology that thieves now possess.

Altos immobilizer is as good as anyother cars immobilizer and it can be by passed just like anyother cars can be bypassesd and duplicate keys can be made in minutes.

What honda city has is a chor switch. Its not a immobilizer.
