This crash occurred yesterday last night at T-Block, Phase 2, DHA Lahore. More precisely in front of Defence Degree College for Boys. And once again another car becomes a victim of over-speeding.
Here's what the owner of the Supra, Dr. Shehroze has to say about the crash:
I want to say this car is mine. Car experienced a brake failure probably due to rupture of vacuum pipe to brake booster (this was the most closest symptom that i could figure out in a short while). I downshifted the car to 1st gear even before the round about so car was not above 50kmph. And i was not overspeeding at all. I can show my ECU logs. Anyway, i tried my best to save the oncoming biker who came from DHA cinema side and made me turn sharply to right. I was not aware of a 50feet basement across the steel barricade. I was expecting it to be an empty plot at ground level. Anyway, i paid up the expenses of damage that i caused to the property before taking my car away. Fortunately, passenger and I were out of the car without a scratch. Car was never supposed to be sold, atleast till i die. So no worries about the 'market value' and 'gossip'. Fortunately car is in a condition that it can be restored. And hopefully it will be back on roads soon again in a bigger and better way
