Upgrade to Honda 70 Bike?

Hello friends.
I am not a bike freak nor a ridder, I just have an old 80's Honda 70 which i use to travel in Karachi
If i think to replace a better bike then 70, what will be a considerable choice in the following,

1) Mileage
2) Classic Design (Comfortable back seat for Ladies)
3) Price Value
4) Resale Value
5) Parts Available
5) Speed

Honda 100 , Suzuki 110 ECO, Yamaha Junoon 100 are famous brands, but i don't know about them.

Bhai Aap Agar upgrade karna chahte ho to Apni 70 Sale karke new CD-70 (CDI) purchase karlen. Ajkal sub se zyada sale hone wali bike CDI70 hey. AAP HONDA bhi lesakte hai yah phir local assembles me se UNIQUE 70, SUPER STAR 70, etc. Inke Parts easily available hein or resale bhi hey.

Baki Suzuki, Yamaha etc parts are rare and expensive.

Honda CD70 is one of the best economical bike in Pakistan which almost gives 70km/liter Patrol :). People like to buy this bike because it is cheep, Younger boys often try to replace the factory fitted Silencer because they thought they can go behind the limit of 70cc
IMO, CD70 is not suitable to travel on longer distance like 50KM, Its engine gets very hot if you continuously drive it.

btw i was asking about the engine wise upgrade.

Actually I am just curious which bikes comes next after Honda 70 ?

Like yamaha 100 , Suzuki , Honda 100, I think parts are available for these in karachi.

anyone else with opinion ?

Its a good option to go with new Model CD 70 which has big Seat a bit better road grip as compared to old model C 70.
In 100 CC class the best buy wud be CD 100 but u have to compromise on point # 4 i.e. resale Value which wud be definately poor for all 100 CC bikes while comparing with CD 70.

Apart from CD70, I have drive a Honda 100 once in my life & that was looking just ok.
The guy who owned that bike suddenly sale that bike for some engine problem. That was the first model of Honda 100. I have hardly seen a honda 100 anywhere, I don't know but some of my friends says that Honda 100 is a fail Model by honda.

I am willing to read comments about Yamaha and Suzuki

@poster can I see your bike?
I also own a 87 model CD 70 and I really like these models,
though the only drawback was the lack of a CDI system
but still I think that the build quality of these models was way better than these todays CD,s

My bike is 83's Honda 70, my father purchased that Zero Meter
It is in a good working condition, i will try to post pics.

I am agree that old 70 bikes are much stronger because they were made in Japan. This does not mean that the i will use that only bike in my enter life.
The age of old 80's bikes is almost finish, we are forcefully using them.
same case with Cars also, i personally prefer change with technology.

If you have money and you can afford then why don't buy a new one ?

after all when you are having the facility then why not just avail it?
but if I were you then I would have kept that old CD with me and would have bought a new one
and when I would have gotten a chance then I would have proceded with the restoration
anyhow its your bike and you are at full liberty to do whatever you want
but please if you sale it then DONOT sale it at a throw away price

I am a busy guy I don't have enough time to play around with bikes
Restoration will cost a lot of money. infect I get tired, even when i think about restoration. I like new bikes looks, sober, elegant, grip on road, bigger fuel tank etc :-#

I will try to sale at maximum price, which will help me to buy a new one.

I will just say that no brand is perfect! Each has it's own Pros & Cons... U shud just know them & choose the 1 which suits you the best.

Suzuki is V.good in durability,power,Economy,comfort(i feel sprinter eco 2 b more comfortale) But lacks resale + if ur a busy person u will hate going back 2 suzuki authorized dealers for repairs & wait there in lines 2 get ur bike checked...!! Otherwise its a best buy..

Honda Cd100 is very comfortable one, new Cd100 is improved & better but still engine is not the best one, Durability is a ? resale poor too, so i wont recommend it!

Junoon is the best in looks, Durability is V.good, Power is v good milage is good, re sale is a little better than others. Its a YES! Go 4 it!

Ill say sprinter eco OR Junoon! Gudluck!

I have just seen some pics and videos about those 100cc bikes, looking good.
price list blown my mind :o. heavy prices.

Does a Honda bike mechanic can not repair a Suzuki Sprinter or Yamaha Junoon? :S

If the resale value for those 100cc bikes is not much, then a little used bike (1 year old) will cost around how much ?

another major concern is Fuel consumption, how much fuel these bikes utilize per kilometer ?

Yes a used one is gud decision sont go 4 more than 3 years old one in any case... Buy only if u get a neaty kept good condition one.

Milage

Junoon = 52-57KM/ltr
CD100 = 55-60 Km/Ltr
Sp. eco= 58-63Km/Ltr
Sprinter = 52-57 Km/Ltr Approx.

No a honda mechanic would just screw up ur suzuki completely and return..!
he wud only try and experiment! also Honda tools dont work on suzuki's!! So they just screw up ur ride without any proper tools 4 it & no idea ebt it's new tec engine design(comparatively new tec)
