Upgrading an old Land cruiser

I want to upgrade my old Land cruiser model 1992. It has depleted over time as i didn't pay any attention to it.
What all parts, assemblies and shape aspects i can change as per legal bounds. Can someone refer some govt rules on this aspect

as per my understanding
you cannot change share by putting up model body
if its a 80 series LC
a body of 80 series should be swapped on it
