Ybr 125 variant G comes with a round 7" headlight with Plastic Reflector and Plastic front cover. By default it has 35/35 watts 12v Philips halogen bulb h4 socket.
I wanted to upgrade the headlight for better visibility on highways, so i swapped a C6 Led 35w. It was longer from the back side because of heat sink and fan so i had to make a hole in headlight back cowl to make it fit.
The led didn't have much focus or long through on the road because of the spreading waste of light. After somehow coping with it for a year now, i think its brightness has reduced.
Now i have swapped it with a 55/60 watts halogen bulb same H4. So the load is now 20 to 25 watts more than the stock and i can feel that it is producing more heat which might cause the reflector to melt/ wires and sockets to melt/ buttons melt/ or blow up the fuse.
By stock the bike came with a liquid acid battery that i replaced after 2 years with a sealed lead acid battery, i think its 4 amps.
I will post the results with this bulb. Attaching some pics of stock and upgraded bulb.
