Upgrading Honda City 2015 / 2022 model tires with higher width good quality tires

This is the place senior pakwheelers recommended me. I went there two years ago and yes they are serious guys, no talking, just work and good work and rates are very reasonable. I don't remember what I paid exactly. This workshop is at Mureer Chowk Rawalpindi. If you are coming from Saddar side, it's on the left just after crossing Mureer overhead Railway bridge.

Wow the photos on that fb page. The new tires have still those tiny plastic hair to show its brand new. The tires I got, yokohama from Asad Tires pindi didn't have such hair. Even though they were manufactured about 5 months ago.

These 'hairs' dont just go away when you put in new tyres. They stay there for few Kms. No hairs at all means tyres sold to you as new are driven for atleast more than few Kms.

Thanks. I just called Asad Tires again. He said same thing. Yokohama don't have that hair he said.
@hash4u, Can u tell me what area the genuine stamp is on allows?

Bought Continental CC5 for my Corolla and Hankook H706 for Khyber. Both from their authorized dealers. The imported tyres don't have those "hair".

Asad Tires Saddar Rawalpindi is a well renowned Yokohama dealer. I have bought Yokohamas from him in the past. Dorry worry, your tires aren't fake.

And yes, wheel balancing is must after the tire change. Recently when I replaced EuroStar tires of my Corolla with Continental CC5, I put them on the balancing machine and there was a difference. The wheel balancing was done free of cost by the dealer from whom I purchased new tires.

These are for 2013 Vitz black colour. The good part is that the tyre size is 185/55 r15. Low profile tyre looks awesome on 15" aluminium rims.

Time for another upgrade. With my incoming 2022 Honda City, i'll once again upgrade the stock tires.

Notes:

Pakistan 2022 Honda City comes with 175/65 R15 tyres.
The Indian 2022 Honda City comes with 185/55 R16 tyres.
Overall tire+wheel size combined diameter is same for both countries. Indian Honda just used bigger wheels/rims.

Here's some data that I wish to come back to for future ref and hopefully it'll help owners here too looking for easy comparison in one place.

Note to self: 185/65 R15 still makes the most sense to upgrade to as seen below. Minor outer diameter difference. ~6% wider for a bit better road grip.

For a bit better grip / look, the 195/60 R15 is even closer match (outer diameter wise) as its just 0.2% taller. But its about 11% wider for better grip.

Also the newer Advan DB v552 looks pretty nice. It seems its been around for a couple years in PK as well. I'll be getting these hopefully.

I bought Advan dB v552. They didn’t have 185/64 so I got 195/60 size instead. I am happy with the quiet and comfortable drive on these.
