Upgrading Honda Road Master 185

Your bike Recifier gets heated up and its performance degrates as it get headed.
proper ventilation to rectifier to keep it cool or better recifier would resolve the issue.

I dunno what exactly is a rectifier
is this the rectifier?

This is my own bike and if this is the rectifier to I remember that I got it changed it last year
is se pehle is ka genuine wala he chal raha tha jo is ke sath aya tha
aur I remember ke yeh honda ka nahi hai yeh crown lifan walon ka lagwaya tha q k honda ka 6volts main available nahi tha

agr rectifier heat honay ki waja say say apni performance decrease kar raha hai to phr asar srf headlite par kyun par raha hai....horn shld also dim integator also...but the poster sayng only headlite is dim........but acrdng to me if headlite ka masla hai to bike kay magnet mein kuch lite coil bhi hoti hain woh weak hogaai hon gi........

@FC, coils are usually last thing to check atleast that is what I have read. some usually last decades so as genuine rectifiers which is not the case here. Rectifier is not genuine china maal is usually very pethatic.

I have wrecked 175,s in approach but cant able to Restore em coz, 200 / 250 kay part rare hain but mil jatay hain, 175 kay tu bilkul he nahi miltay.... warna mera irada bhi 175 ko restore kernay ka he tha, because
175 ki performance 250 ki jesi he hai or 200 say bohut behter hai.

But one thing u wont be able to apply upgraded or after market parts on 175 because engines are tottally different ,
175 has a "ON hEAD CAM" OHC engine

where as 200 / 185 has a magnetto CAM, and 250cc is a CDI engine.

Pretty impressive work that you have done on your bike. I also own a honda CD 175. I am also restoring it to its old glory and trying to add orgional parts as much as possible.

You can find most of their parts from Malclod Road Lahore. Maqdoom Autos, Green Autos and few shops adjacent to them contain most of the parts of clasic honda.

I will definately try some of the upgrades that you have done

@Enigma: I visited Islamabad last sunday so thats why replying u late,
their are GT 550 whish they hand over in around 65 / 70 thousand currnt price and only 2,3 200 were their and its demand was 40 thousand, but they were in very health condition though, and were in start condition, but I am not so sure about the engines iner conditions.

vicky dear how much honda cd200 costs if we go for islamabad army auction?

No its not a repairable thing .... plus not that important thing as well, if u need this type of Recti, u must go tu bilal gunj their are piles of these rectis on almost every shop, and are not expensive as well i think I bought a 5 wire Rectifier for a cb 250 megnetto, for 150 only which was origanlly plucked from a CBR bike...

Some more Updates ...
Got some time this weekend so I finally worked out with the bike have a look ..
now its finally taking some shape...
only seat coveer poshish left and some trimming r seat foam and wiring ko seedha ker na reh gaya hai ...
I starte4d it last night or dil khush ho gya bike sound sun ker ....(H)

BTW to give it claasic look u should go wid split round meters (which comes with Old CG 125 or Current GS 150) The angel eye indicator also not looking good & according to theme u shud go with round indicators preferable from honda CD 100.

hmmmm yeah !!! ... thanx Imran .. u r right in indiactors thing koz yesterdoy i was thinking that the are not fitting in very much as I was expecting them ... alag say dikh rahay thay ... meray mind mien uswaqt CD 100 nahi aya .. i ill definatly try em out ...

& round meters mil tu jatay hain but yar china kay hotay hain or bilkul he galat speed bata rahay hotay hain Bike sirf 40KMH per hoti hai or wo merter 70 dikha raha hota hai thats why I choosed orignal euro-II Honda speedo meter ... but u r right its not classic style... mien aesa ker sakta hon kay is ki machinery use keron or body kisi rounded meter ki... ill search If i can do that...
