Ups Battery Dead

Hi Guys
I'm asking this question as I have searched here and there but it was a bit different related to mine. So 2 years back I have purchased Schenider Ups APV 20KVA from w11stop for my small office just for 5 system and it used to give back of 1 hour but now my batteries has got a bit fat and it gives a back of only 30mins, can I say that I need to replace my batteries or there is some problem with my Ups?
I actually don't wanted to type this question but just need to clear my self.
Need a bit help

there are authorized shops of schnieder ups in karachi. why buy through w11?

well it was actually 2 years back, ups are working fine but just the battery problem.

your answer is already given. fat batteries mean battery life is over. time for replacement.

its always preferable to have a single big deep cycle battery.

As you know this is Pakistan and I'm just trying to make the use of it more... I 'm thinking that might it work for some more months but in other sense I was worry about it a bit as well.. that is what being confused I have asked this questions.

instead of using multiple dry batteries use one big big dry battery if it is of 12v or if it is 24v then use 2 in series.

you can also use non dry batteries if u can maintain it.

you can keep using it. backup will keep reducing.

but swollen batteries are always a risk

what is the exact model of your ups?

better if you can take a picture of the ups specification sticker, normally pasted somewhere on the UPS.

its all depend on your consumption..
e.g.
a small office ups of 1kva or 1000watts with 12v 2 batteries in series has enough backup of around 15mins plus so that you can go and start your generator.

more consumption then more amperes are required to gv you enough backup.

nfssaad thanks for your kind help my ups model is Surt 48XLBP and here are some pics of it.
plus I have decided to better go for a new batteries. because this morning I checked the timing of my batteries and it gave me a back of only 20min.

i think this is the one.

you will have to get APC battery packs,

jugaars are possible but would not recommend.

this appears to be a 48 volt ups, so that would mean 4 x 12 volt batteries. if were to use the huge truck size batteries. for reference if you were to get daewoo dib 260 (190 amp hour deep cycle battery) 4 batteries would occupy quite a lot of space and each battery needs 2 normal size people to lift it.

just out of curiosity, what is your load / actual requirement. what equipment are you running on this ups?

Well yes this the one, and I'm not sure about the load but at the moment I'm using 5 Computer system in terms of Desktop. Apart from this I have planned solar panels for the future of my small office.

even if you have 5 pc. at the very maximum 500 watts per PC, your ups is still huge.

in case of using solar, you will need hybrid inverter. best of the lot from what i have searched around is the infini from voltronics, its branded by inverex, crown and some other companies.
