Hello Everyone,
I purchased a Suzuki Cultus 2005 (carburetor model) about 6 months ago, and I’ve been facing persistent overheating and pressure buildup issues, even without the AC being on. Here's a detailed summary of the situation:
Initial Issue: When I first bought the car, there was pressure buildup. I took it to a mechanic and had the gasket changed.
First Breakdown on Motorway (Near Samundri): On my way to Lahore, the car overheated, and oil and water mixed. Another mechanic fixed it by addressing the head face issue.
Second Breakdown on Return: On the way back from Lahore, the gasket failed again, causing the car to overheat. This time, the same mechanic who had previously changed the gasket near Samundri just changed the gasket again without checking the head or block. The mechanic now says there’s a leak near the timing chain.
Current Issue: Despite changing the gasket, radiator cap (Japani), installing a double-naali radiator, upgrading to a higher-speed fan, and removing the thermostat valve, the overheating and pressure problems still persist—and this is happening without the AC being on.
I’m really worried about the current state of my car, as these issues keep recurring. Can anyone recommend a skilled and experienced mechanic IN LAHORE who specializes in Cultus 2005 carburetor models and can help solve this issue permanently? I’m looking for a professional who can properly address the root cause, such as the head, block,
Your advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
