Urgent Need help regarding civic 8th Generation

salam to all of You !!!
i ve purchased civic reborn, 2011 model., 120,000 km driven
i m facing many problems regarding Steering Assembly, Power pump, clutch plate, suspension etc etc...
bt someone is saying me to replace therse parts with original parts (that are v much costly)
some are saying to put KAABLI parts.
some are saying k "Kaabli parts dalo gay tou kuch arsay baad dobara same problems start hojayn gay"

so plz if there any experienced person than plz tell me what should i do ?

Do not go for kabli parts especially Clutch plates and shocks. You will be wasting time and money as most of them are repaired and work on a hit and trial basis. " chal gea to chand tak nahi to shaam tak"
I would suggest to go for genuine parts. They will cost almost double but worth the money spent.

As for the steering assembly go for the one with EPS. This is the only part that you will be getting Kabli. You might need to change multiple times only to find which one works perfect. No need to spend on pump etc. it will leak again.

Seals change krny say problem solve ho sakta ha ?

The changing of seals is a temporary solution, it will start leaking again after 4-5 months. If you have not any technical knowledge about repairing a car, then kindly sale it otherwise these mechanics will ripp u off.

Sir finding original kabuli parts is also very difficult now a days bcz markets are flooded with repaired parts. But I will suggest u to do your homework properly and then visit kabuli parts market with some experienced person. Also do compare the price of Kabuli & new parts. And then decide yourself, which thing to buy new & which used.

For steering assembly, I will also suggest u to go EPS one, as other member suggested, power pump will also be deleted.
For clutch plates, always go for new parts. U dont need to buy geniune parts from dealership. You will easily get original parts in less prices from open market.
For suspension issues, Kabuli chimtaas, axles, link rods e.t.c are good buy. But you will need New rubber bushings, not kabuli. Buying kabuli shocks is little tricky, u need an experienced guy with u, who will examine shocks.

i was also thinking to purchase kabuli shocks, bt i ve consulted with a mechanic, he was saying that he will service the shocks n than they will work properly for 5-6 months, is it possible ???

If ur shocks are leak then after removal ur mechanic will send them to shock repair wala, who will insert new seals and refill oil.

There is no oil leakage in shocks but front shock performance is zero.

This means their springs are bad.

Assalamo alaikum... Brothers I am facing a problem regarding my front shock... My front right shock is making noises (thak thak) whenever I hit a rough patch on the road. I suspected broken mount, but when mechanic was test-driving the car, the sound disappeared completely and for 2 days.... My Mechanic said that your shock has become hard. so need replacement...

Kindly suggest me what should I do ? Can it get repaired? Should I replace with a Kabuli? Or if brand new, what will be its price and from where I can buy genuine new damper of Civic Reborn from open market ?

Mostly everybody goes for kabuli shocks including me. But it also depends upon your budget, if you want to own your car for longer period like for next 4, 5 years then new shocks will be a piece of mind.

On the other hand, kabuli shocks are also good for a year or two.
Ask your mechanic to check if the shocks are able to repair, if yes then get them repaired. They will easily serve you a year.
Baki Sorry, I have no idea about the prices of new or kabuli shocks of reborn.

Thank you brother.. I do plan to keep the car for 5 years. But now a days (this month) my budget is somewhat restricted, but I need the car... So I think I should get it repaired or a kabuli... And once it start making noise again, then will get it replaced with new... IA... And I searched and found that both front shocks cost 24,000 Rs....

Then get the kabuli ones ... They also work fine.

I replaced with kabli. Dont compromise on suspension otherwise every kabli part is OK to use.
