Assalamualaikum everyone,
I purchased a brand-new Honda 150F from Al-Haq Honda Center in Rawalpindi, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. While I was busy with paperwork, the mechanic prepared my bike for the first start. When I checked, the battery wasn’t working. Upon informing them, the mechanic and salesperson assured me that riding a few kilometers would charge it.
After riding 25 km, the battery completely failed—even the neutral light stopped working. The next day, I revisited the dealership, and they told me to claim the warranty. I was then sent to the Golra Mor branch, but they couldn’t resolve the issue.
Finally, I went to the Honda Claim Center at Chandni Chowk. They inspected the battery, submitted my claim, and gave me Honda Manager Sanaullah’s contact number. Unfortunately, it’s been 10 days, and my battery hasn’t been replaced yet.
This back-and-forth is unacceptable, especially for someone who buys a brand-new bike expecting reliability. If I don’t receive my replacement within three days, I’ll be forced to escalate the matter further.
Has anyone else faced such issues with Honda’s service? Would appreciate any advice or insights.
