URGENT! Require information from TOYOTA COROLLA GRANDE OWNERS (new shape)

guys we have just bought a 1.8 altis and the thing is that i have recently noticed is that when i am sitting in the car and turn the car steering it makes a weird sound..... up on leaving the steering it goes away. I just had my 1.8 altis 1000 km serviced and i asked the toyota mechanic at the service centre of this sound and he said that its the eps motor which is making the sound and its nothing to worry about.

Is it true because when its really quite in the car and i turn the sterring it makes this noise come from the car steering.Kindly reply all the altis 1.8 new shape corolla owners...i hope i am not being bluffed by these guys...

It must be the EPS motor indeed. I kind of feel the same in my Honda City which too has EPS.

Btw, wasnt the new Grande coming up with an Auto AC instead of those circular AC controls ?

He has bought older model, climate control is in 2016 ones. Coming towards eps sound i dont think there is much sound which will worry you or maybe i am used to it.

only sound i hear is when i turn steering fully and its in locked position

Yes absolutely their is no abnormal sound but it hold it at lock to lock position it sounds ......please note that its a warning for all never hold the steering to lock position other wise your eps motor will be ruined....it is always recommended to stop before lock position.....The car is OK.
