Urgent Santro Problem

My Car is not starting up ... :(. It was doing some missing on petrol few days back. On saturday car was alright but when i tried to start it today it didnot...vhat could be the possible cause ...your quick response will be highly appreciated

More than a hundred reasons can cause a car not to start.
If it is cranking with normal speed and sufficient fuel is there then either some sensor is doing wrong or the injector. Check the connector/grips of all injectors and the sensor located near ignition coils (Cam Position Sensor, CPS)

First of all check the fuses,main relay and fuel pump relay then proceed as follow,

1 - Check electrical connections for corrosion and looseness.
2 - Check fuel filter/fuel lines and fuel pump.
3 - Check spark plugs and ignition coils.
4 - Check air filter.
5 - Check cam / crank sensors.

thanx dear... where is the main relay and fuel pump relay located ?

are you getting spark on the plug leads?
if not check for proper voltage and ground in the entire EFI circuit.
If you have batt voltage everywhere where it should be then check check your crank sensor with a oscilloscope or something.
we have it at ZRS - and santro having hall effect sensors for crank and cam timing is nearly impossible to check properly with anything less than an oscilloscope

Thanks for all ur support. Problem was in fuel pump motor which was not working. And as santro starts on petrol, it was unable to suck petrol. the mechanic do some thing by attaching a wire wil +ve terminal and CNG kit to force the car to start on CNG and then troubleshoot the matter.
He said it was due to bad quality of petrol. after tunning and replacing motor car still knocks havily on petrol so the mechanic suggest me to add atleast 1000Rs HiOctance to balance the ratio and the problem will be solved....

I don't think it is the solution to use Hi-Octane every time.

Hi dear anyone can tell me where i get the gas meter for santro kit because lights are not working and meachanic said get new meter bt that is not available at cng shops?
