I just got B1/B2 visa for 5 years. My admin process took one month to complete. They will verify your data which you provided online to them. They will check your criminal record and your friend's testimonials. You will be informed by e-mail adress you have provided to them and American Exress courier service. You will collect your passport from American Express in person. You never know if you will get the visa or not till you finally notified by the American Embassy.

Now again Confused , You Said " They will verify your data which you provided online to them " , Then Why He don't see any document according to that data which i provided online to them ??? & Second I don't Understand " your friend's testimonials " , Please Explain this.

visa is confirmed if they keep your passport for administrative process...as of my personal experience In Administrative process they dont bother you....if they wanted any documents they would have asked you to bring the document with some blue/green page given to you..they do everything on their own nd usually takes at-least 60 days but i got mine after 4.5 months...my mamoo got his after 9 months....so just sit back nd relax...

Did You also Apply for B1/B2 & Have You Got that for 5 Years ?

so did you had an interview?
I believe you had interview and they kept your passport. If the visa officer thinks that your application complete and a visa can eb given then they keep your passport and you get a light green letter saying "administrative processing". the administrative processing can be quick or can very tiring. The letter will said 4-6 weeks but there is no dead line. It can take few weeks or few months even a year. Basically your info is send to Home land security for background check. If there is any name match or anything else. This is a normal procedure. The major time consumed is here at this location. No need to call them again and again as Embassay just sent all your info back to US and as soon as they get info you will be called to pick up your visa. Embassy have no control to expediarte it. your application is in pipe line to process. If they needed anythign they would have told you in interview or will send you a letter if they required any. Just keep your finger crossed. sit and relax and dont think about it everyother day. It will take some time. Yes you can call them to know the ststus but they will say no update. Inshaallah everything will be alright.

i will look for another month otherwise i will ask for my passport back during AP and sorry bro i am not from Pakistan. I am from Bangladesh.
