Yes, I know a person who was denied entry on student visa.

Raising 2 issues. First he was on the student visa so he shouldn't have had the 5 year multi entry visa. Not sure about this one what actually Is the issue.

Second he had some nude baby pictures of family was red flagged for child pornography.

Most of my family members have been decline first time US visa and have been granted a visa every other time although they have blood relatives living in the US being US nationals.

My brother in law and a few friends with decent travel history have been granted first time 5 year travel visas without family being in the US.

Attending marriages of friends, business visits, or group tours are relatively genuine reasons

the biggest issue Pakistanis face in visa is proof of income and tie to country. Having excel sheets and bank balance sheet worth multiple of millions but nothing from FBR automatically is a problem. (which most Pakistanis fail to understand)

The usual reply of "my father supports us - while the person is married etc is also a massive red flag (they see you as looking to flee) - and thirdly if you have a good skillset but with the above two conditions - you are a guaranteed closed case because its obvious what you are upto.

Someone working and sitting at another unit while, a business running on their name would be at a different place being managed by another uncle or brother.

They are owners on paper only. I think the US visa systems somewhat understand this and do a background check as per their requirements.

Giving reasoning they were not satisfied with the turnover in my bank statement with the yearly profit declared by me.

And that I had cash deposits just before visa interview/documents submission.

All this checked on a 6 month bank statement. Which is obviously vague. Turnover is not profit, I can definitely by law have cash sales deposits in my account too. They too thought I'd run away

The declaration had a clear mention i couldn't challenge or appeal for the decision. I didnt retry. But have heard UK has lightened check for Pakistanis.

Its not transparent and is a red flag anywhere. This is why any govt provided income declaration is required (in Pakistan case its called FBR).

I know lots of people who were rejected as they proudly beamed "we are not filer" but had literal tons of "bank balance". The visa officer kicked them out.

for simple terms those millions could be from ransom, begging, prostitution or theft, Its not good proof for income as its not taxed income.

You just literally explained what the visa officer rejected you for - and its one of the very basic reasons. The same kinds of reasons any simple business enterprise look for when trying to land an agreement.

btw - its not ethical to have such pictures saved as personal reference material.

My income is 100% declared and taxed. Maybe I would have attached 3 or 5 year bank statements instead of six month.

You being in business would know all invoices are not paid in 100% some are partial payments some are complete. I have records for sales and payments received in my bank

But this councilor didn't give me a chance to explain or provide further documentation 🤷‍♂️

My nature of business polyester fabrics has a good turnover in cold weather, and business slow in warm weathers. So turnover isn't same around the year.

They should give an option to file a appeal atleast. To reconsider genuine cases. Maybe if I had a plot on my name that would make my case stronger.

I agree, the guy was given an option to file a complaint/appeal and proceed accordingly do court kacheri or be deported back.

One of my uncles with the same problem. Family business. Having something on his name working on another project.

He had studied in the US has a good travel history. Doesn't has much on his name legally. Just a Suzuki mehran and bank balance for personal monthly expenses.

He has been very lucky with visas, US, UK, Schengen

Bank statements are useless, you need to show your fbr filings, they are enough evidence, (They are government certified statement of earnings), at max your bank and accounts can ve used for the last few months (unfiled returns) Bank statements are mostly considered ambiguous as books can be cooked very nicely in Pakistan.

The only time they can work is for student visas and applicant being of very young age (money deposited as gift etc)

Consulted elder brother who looks after business today. He told me that he files tax returns and pays tax in my name. So yes fbr filings are also available as well as property in my name. One problem is tht my bank ac almost always remains empty or contains few thousand rupees only. So plz give advice in light of this detail to apply or not for the visa.

As mentioned above. If you can prove that you run your business without a bank being involved. File your taxes. Its good enough.

This makes it worse. If your brother does pay tax under your ntn, but your bank holding is next to zero, then you need to somehow prove how you afford your daily expense of living.

If you file under such conditions, it will immediately get rejected because of missing source of income.

Salam. My sister-in-law and her husband live in usa. They are american citizens. She is going to have her delivery of baby sometime in june. So she wants us to visit because she has kids and she is alone and she wants my wife(her sister) to be with her.
So I and my wife want to travel together. I dont have any business/job of my own. We have family business and i get income from it. Also dont have money in bank a/c. So what are chances of getting visa if they send invitation?

As it is almost 8 months now so first Congrats for the new born.
What is the conclusion, you applied for the visa ? Success?Results?
