Salam. My sister-in-law and her husband live in usa. They are american citizens. She is going to have her delivery of baby sometime in june. So she wants us to visit because she has kids and she is alone and she wants my wife(her sister) to be with her.
So I and my wife want to travel together. I dont have any business/job of my own. We have family business and i get income from it. Also dont have money in bank a/c. So what are chances of getting visa if they send invitation?

you may not even called upon for interview for 40 to 75 days, if you choose to apply for visa and submit non refundable fee. 90 days later you receive single page letter to reapply again.

yes that's correct they will just tell you "failed to establish enough ties with home country"
You need to show ties to your country which means: job, business with your name, property on your name, parents/children living there, assets/investments of some sort. Basically you need to give them reason why would you return back and not decide to stay in USA?

I agree with sir @tintin1. In case if it doesn't work, your sister in law send an application that she doesn't want labor in the hospital and prefer home birth/nany help, she might get an invitation letter for a nany.. I don't know about US rules so please ask about that.

Thanks for encouraging and detailed reply.I I have property registered on my name in karachi. Also I am director in one pvt ltd company which we made some years before but it does not do any business so my tax return every year are zero tax coz of no income. So wat are the chances if i tell them tht my father will bear expenses of our visit?

Also I have no travel history of any country except saudi for hajj and umrah. Same for my wife

I shared a list of things which can be used to show your ties to home country. Property on your name is one of the things so try to add more if you can to make your case stronger. if you have any investments e.g. PSX, mutual funds, etc then that counts too.

Telling them that your father will bear expenses IMO will make your case weaker as you are not only adult but married as well.

You can go ahead and give it a try but what you have told us so far doesn't make your case strong. Sometimes they grant visa on second attempt so in short try to make your case as strong as possible and then try your luck.

Btw sometimes if officer is nice, he/she can give single entry, time constrained visa.

the above lines are verbatim of your post. You are already an unfit case for wasting visa application fee.

The system has changed. You get an interview appointment on the website. Even better you get to select the appointment date aswell now. You carry your passport with you. If they keep the passport you get a visa and even then they might reject you later. Else hand it over to you on the spot saying you can apply again as soon as the next day.

The US intelligence does a background check on the individual applying for the visa, even if I say they have a spy on your back that wouldn't be wrong too.

That is one reason you don't need any documents to take along on your interview to apply for the US visa.

Be as honest as possible, no need to hide any thing. Keep it clear you are visiting family for the baby delivery. No need to mention ghuma phirakei.

You will need to add family because you will staying with them. And your cost of living in the US would be less.

You can add travel/tourism aswell. Also mention what ever source of income you have and how are you going to pay for the trip if you have no legal income in your name.

You would need your family business work letter, leave letter and a letter stating that they are willing to sponsor your trip.

Rest assured, their is no particular ratio of you getting or not getting the visa.

Before you arrive for the interview, it is already decided if you are getting a visa or not.

a 63 year old healthy non dependent woman with a 100 page Pakistani passport stamped with 6 valid multi entry visitor visas from US, Canada to ANZ since year 2006. She has ties across the world sons & daughters all over, has been declined entry at Dulles Airport on 24 Jan 2021. It was her 7th visit in 4 years. She arrived there onboard United airways from UK. From inside the Dulles airport she called her son who is working for an international auditing firm across the world. He reached airport with his attorney. But the immigration officer choice to decline entry was upheld. She has to leave and return to UK upgraded to 1st class.

On Feb 2nd she took the same carrier and arrived safely at the very same Dulles Airport. Attended the wedding of her grand daughter. Her son has already filed a petition to know reason for entry denial, am sure US dept of immigration will provide some solid reason or tender an apology.

Specially in case of US Visa, only visa stamped to passport does not mean ENTRY is guaranteed no matter how seasoned traveler is.

Denial of entry at the airport is relatively rare, and usually happens for good cause that may not be readily apparent, such as background security checks, or a temporary hold for clarification of a particular piece of information.

To add more, now all investor visa in Free Zone, renewals for Pakistani Citizens in UAE require police verification report attested by UAE consulate / embassy in Pakistan.

its called a shelf company and one doing no business is an immediate redflag weighing several megatons.
