can we use AUX port of a Japanese DVD player for video display...are there any AV cables available for that? has anyone tried thT?
and can we connect a mobile (ANDROID) to a car DVD to use it for navigation and playing movies etc. ???
aux port is usually for audio only. i think if there is a video screen, wires can be pulled out to give it a video feed like they do it for audio. check with a good repairman
yeah madhouse..i think u r right that AUX is only for audio but yet to be 100% sure...through browsing ive got to know that there is a 3.5 mm to RCA cable which can be used for that purpose...
anyways my problem is that i am unable to watch video display on my japanese car's dvd tv navigation screen...and i know its a very common problem of MAP DISC ...the model is NDDN-W56.. if anyone knows the web-link of the MAP DISC software or if anyone has it, please help me out~
Thanks!
that 3.5mm to rca cable is to use the headphones output of ur mp3 player or mobile to plug into an amp. it is also used to connect a computer's sound output to a home amplifier's input. it is commonly known as stereo cable.
that cable however is not used for video. u can visit any decent car audio shop and they will install the software for ur navigation panel
salam, rocker bhayya i think i m getting wat u are trying to say,,,, ive tried ages before same thing with my nokia n95 vdo cable,,, it give video output as welll,,,,, attaced pic might help you sort it out.. no offence plz
