I want to know what is octane booster and how it is used in cars Does it effect car engine?Or have any other side effectAnd use of in turbo charged engines in Pakistan especially MG HS 1.5 turbo And Also that MG HS always require Hi-Octane petrol for daily commuting? Or Its starts knocking on simple Euro 5 petrol?
best to use high octane from proper pump. Octane boosters available locally are crap and i'd never use them in a brand new car. Also avoid lugging the engine,if possible install an OBD2 boost meter to keep the boost pressure in check.
