Sometimes I really miss the companies like Carfirst & Vava Cars at least you could get an proper valuation like what's the least price you can get for your vehicle,
Godforbid if nowadays you have to sell your car urgently these DEALERS/STEALERS will SHREAD you into pieces not just RIP you off !!!

Like I bought this car for 1.4 million rupes after getting it all sorted cost me above 1.5million
Now STEALERS are evaluating it from 0.85million to 1.3million

Again, make it presentable, the only way to sell a car at a proper price is when it's presentable, buyer only cares about the things that they can see

The issue is that people don,t even kept there car clean after getting them showered.
even they post pictures of clean car and when you visit to check, you will find scratches on bumpers doors etc.
Like you have get the car showered, they cant take care of them after that as well

Once I was checking out this alto it looked so clean (IT WAS ACTUALLY CLEAN) but it was in a minor accident broke the boot floor seal slightly buckled from both sides but it wasn
wasn't mentioned in the add neither did seller disclose it to me,
Same happened when I went to inspect a ags Alto
Checked the boot by chance the tyre puncher kit wasn't there & I could see that boot floor was buckled i asked the seller he mentioned he REPAIRED the trunk but he didn't knew about the damage in the boot !!!!

The absolute garbage I've seen parked on DEALERS LOT under 2million,
Thing is that someone who doesn't have any knowledge about cars would 99.99% get ripped off by them,
There won't be any visible damage or that sort of thing to make someone believe that it's in buy & drive condition,

Hence everyone buys cars that look presentable and everyone likes to win at something in life, hence there are 3 stages of negotiations when selling/buying. The first is during the first call, second is just before deciding to visit and the third is at the spot. If you can accommodate someone at all three stages, you sell easily

What i have learnt in these few month is that public's behavior is justifying the shady behavior of DEALERS

Absurd demand/asking price because they'll ask for final price and then start negotiating with that to,
Ignoring the drivability of vehicles & hyper focusing the cosmetics even if it's a small scratch,

PS: My neighbors are dealers & I have seen them fixing the cosmetics & things like ac starter/self that can be easily turn the potential buyer away but they won't go deep down to make it just buy & drive,

I hope you all are doing well.

After being scammed with my first two cars (a Charade 1987 that had a major accident history and a GLi 2009 with a rusted floor and repaired roof), I’m feeling really cautious this time. Sadly, even people I trusted deceived me in those deals.

Now, I’m planning to buy a car again and am leaning towards a Toyota Vitz. My budget is 3.6 million PKR, and after doing some research, I think I might be able to get a clean 2016 model within this range. Do you think that’s possible, or would I need to increase my budget?

I’ll definitely get a Pakwheels inspection done, but I was wondering if you could also recommend a good car expert in Rawalpindi/Islamabad for an additional inspection, just to be 100% sure.

I’m also considering the Honda Civic Rebirth as an alternative. Do you think it’s a better option than the Vitz?

Lastly, what steps can I take to avoid getting scammed again? Is Pakwheels inspection enough, or should I be looking into anything else to ensure the car is genuine and in good condition?

I know this is a lot to ask, but your advice would really mean a lot to me. Thank you so much,

Looks like you banked more on “apna banda” rather than what are you paying for. In business never jump in blind on basis of “apna banda hai” because it will always sting.

Hire the services of any inspection and tell them exactly what you want to see and know.
