Let me tell you guys something. I am in market for more than 3 months have checked, 400 cars. There are two things, either u have to compromise on mechanics or on body(paint, seal wagera)
Some cars have panels painted and have no leakages, some cars are genuine but have leakages and codes.
Some cars have no leakages, mecahnically fine and no spray bit they are 4-5 lakhs expensive from market.
Getting a new corolla in 4 million is impossible so the only option i have to go with a car having few panels painted, it should not have any seal broken, bonut diggi roof and pillars should be 100% fine.
Now if i look at leakges, i have done 9 inspections 7out of them have leakages and 2 did not have but they have paint in bonut and pillars.
So i got two choices if i have to buy corolla either compromise on mechanics, or on paint. But in pakistan i think if we have to keep our money safe then we should compromise little on mecahnics but not on body and paint beacuse the market works on paint in pricing.
These Abs codes are not serious one, i searched about it. The engine codes are sensor issues. So let suppose if the Abs is khalas, then new one would cost 60k. But if the pillars are painted and car abs is fne and have no leakges then market price will decrez by 5 lakhs.
Cars are very expensive now a days. I contacted hundred of sellers and this is my observation.
In 4.1 million you cannot get just biy and drive 1.6 altis 2016. It will hae some sort of work, now rhe choice is that to go wth body work, or mecahnics work
New alsvin wll be 100% piece of mind. But i think corolla gives u better price when u sell it. And that is what my family is looking for. They are telling me buy a car whic can atleast give us money back. And i think in that matter corolla is 100% fit. Buying new car is very good and it will give us complete piece of mind but resale is also a huge thing. But what i am thinking is that to keep this car IA for a minimum of 4 years.
