Yesterday it rained here in Karachi wanted to go on a drive but I've an old Cultus I & my father didn't wanted to drive it
It maybe more comfortable than Mehran but it's probably not that comfortable
As before I wrote in a post that I would like to own an automatic & more comfortable vehicle
Before buying swift my father & I were going to lease a GLi at brand new bank process took a lot of time & after that we had to book the car & after that we would would've waited for 6 months for delivery
So we cancelled the lease
& bought an used swift
Now I'm again trying buy an 2014/15 grande corolla CVTi

Since the thread is derailing, i'm here to bring it back on track,

I bought a Suzuki Mehran back in 2011/12 for 345k. The seller wasn't the owner; he was selling for a friend. I was told that the car is on finance and the finance is paid; no money owed by the bank on car.
I gave him a down payment of 15k and we agreed to meet at the owner's place in I-8 Islamabad. I brought the rest of the payment with me.
When i went to the owner's house, he introduced himself as some big fish who owns a soft-drink factory and has business overseas. He did not have the bank NOC but he showed me track of payments and bank acknowledgement that all dues on car are paid. He promised me to get me the bank NOC in a couple of days.. I paid him the full amount, got the car Keys and registration book.
The chased the guy for NOC but he stopped responding to my calls after a couple of days.. Things looked ugly, i approached bank and they confirmed that all dues on finance are paid but they won't release the NOC unless all his credit card bills are paid. I shelled out another 15k to pay his Credit Card dues.. They prepared the NOC but the condition was that owner has to collect it... The owner was a careless piece of s*it who would rather not move his a*s out of his comfort zone.. He got impossible to get hold of.. Bank sent back the NOC to headoffice since the owner would not collect it ... I made all efforts to get the owner to go to bank, collect the NOC and hand it over to me but nothing worked.
The sale deed was made in his friends name (lucky for the owner that his friend trusted him enough) so i dragged his friend to court.... eventually we settled out of court when he agreed to give me 25k as he was also screw*d badly by the owner.
To this day, i never got the NOC, car still not transferred on my name ... I still rue the day i made that mistake but i promised myself not to repeat this mistake ever again.. and whenever i look at that car.................let's just leave it there..

So recently i was contacted by a guy named junaid smothing from peshawer regarding my jap swift.
Firstly he refused to call and dms on watsapp
this made me skeptical but i was feeling courteous
and you know what he said to me

first time he offers me 12 lac to which I refuse .
Then he calls back and says bhai gaadi deden ,dekh len ,achi offer he,apki biq jaye gi,etc etc
I havent blocked him yet cuz I find his stupidity slightly amusing

Buying & selling cars in this used car market is big headache
Leasing is also is a big headache for civilians
Bank employees lease is on 0% interest toh unke maujein par jab amm admi lease karne jata hai toh uspe jitne finance amount hai unta hai interest lagta hai I personally went to bank got a quote for financing a used car calculated it
worth of car 15lacs
Down payment 7.5lacs
Payments in installment almost 15lacs

Every type of business gives benefits to their own employees.
Bank give 0% interest to bank employees.
Askari Bank gives better interest rate to army,airforce,navy personnel.
Travel Agent/Companies give better/lesser rate to their employees
Pharmaceutical Companies have free dispensary for their employees

Some people are very lazy
I've got an habbit of keeping an eye on used car advertisements
Once I saw an Alto VXR cng up model for very cheap I clicked that add to see what's the catch with this car
So car was leased from a bank & person had paid all the amount but didn't picked up the documents of the vehicle & that bank's branch was permanently closed & documents of that vehicle was misplaced

I know it but these interest rates are shown to general public as 11/15% whatever it is
On financed amount but what I calculated was 100% of the financed amount
& kibor rate can be increased during installment so that was also a big issue
Won't recommend leasing a vehicle it involves SOUD & the vehicle would cost you more then 30% of it's own value or even more in some cases

Banks walay baatain bari karti hain then one way or another (hidden charges) karke jitnay ki gaari hoti hai utna hi extra paisa le letay hain installments k end tak.

I was selling my car. Aik bande ki call aayi. Asked me kab gari dekh loon. I said anytime after 3pm tomorrow. He said I will call you at 3 and will come to your place.
Next day, at almost 4, he called me and said adhe ghante mein pohanch jaon ga mein. Johar Town se aa rha hoon. I came back to by home just to show him the car. After almost an hour, I called him ke bhai kahan ho and he said wo mera zara kaam tha raste mein thori der tak aata hoon. I said okay and dropped the call. Un bhai saab ka kaam hi nahin khatam hoa abhi tak​

I have sold almost 04 cars since 2017, and had many different experiences. Will not go further back, and stick with last 02 rides; Vitz and Tiida Latio, and share some new experiences (as much has already been discussed above, so won't repeat):

In case of Vitz, I got very less calls due to RED Colour, however, once, a lady called me and inquired about all the details. I told her everything, and finally, she offered me 17.5 lac PKR.

I mean seriously? The offer was below the belt, or appropriately, like a low-blow which is common in WWE.

My blood started boiling, but since she was a lady, and due shoor sharaba of women rights, etc. I could not be rude / badtameez, etc. to her, so I politely dropped the call (it may be noted that 02 persons had already offered me 19.5 and 20 lac PKR offers, but I did not reply to them).

The offer was 3.5-4.5 lac PKR less than the market price, which makes me think that the lady did not know about the prices, or was guided wrong, or, she was also another time waster / low baller.
