# Used cars – Guidance required

Dear experts
With a budget of PKR 3.5 million, please suggest a good car to me, considering all factors. I am from Karachi.

I would suggest a Honda City would do well in this price if you would like a newer local car. If you are willing to experiment with older JDMs a Premio would also be a good option. Please let us know the things that are more important to you such as running costs, fuel efficiency, comfort, spare part availability, size etc

I am more concerned with fuel efficiency and maintenance costs.

Honda City it is then. If manual is acceptable then the 1.3L is good enough, otherwise go for the 1.5 auto.

Edit. I believe that Swift prices are a little inflated on pakwheels right now, and that you should be able to grab a 2022 model somewhere around the 3.5 mil figure. Both are great cars, swift would be a little more economical but smaller

For fuel efficiency nothing beats the new Swift. @kashif.rpt

Do not buy a manual car in 2025, nobody buys them.. will lose its value faster too and difficult to resale.

Honda city will provide you poor fuel average.

We have many reviewers of the new swift CVT on this forum who have reported as high as 17km/L figures in LOCAL driving conditions. This is absolutely nuts and is the most fuel efficient car in Pakistan above 1000cc. Only thing better is a hybrid or 660cc Alto.

No issue of parts and maintenance.

City will give like 10 average in the city max 11.

If requirement is strictly a diggi wali car then consider both Yaris and city (former will be more reliable but lower in looks). Same fuel efficiency.
