Used Honda City 2014... Suggestions for mainatance

Welcome me to the Honda Club

Alhamdulilah i have bought Honda City 2014 Basic Model. It's a used vehicle with ODO 125k so obviously it needs some work before it can give a good feel.

So Far I have changed its oil which is Zic's Blue bottle, it is 10w40 if I am right.
I have gotten throttle body service with "engine tunning" and replacement of its spark plugs to NGK ones.

I am listing the things that i have gotten done so far with their prices, kindly guide me what should i do next. I am no more in contact with the seller so i don't want to take any chances with my hard earned money so getting all the necessary mainatance done.

Services that i have gotten done so far are

• Oil and Oil filter changed (Qaims oil filter and Zic's 10w40)
• Spark Plugs changed: 10k
• Tyres Changed to Chineese dong feg: 35k
• Ac Service: 2k
• Infotainment system with OEM looking one: 12k

There is huge difference in the drive compared to before, the pick has improved remarkably.

Please guide me what else is needed or needs to be checked. Your detailed input will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Problem: There is one problem that is bugging me, there is tuck tuck sound when passing the bumpy road, i initially thought the shock absorbers were bad but after having a inspection done from a road side ustaad, i was told that there is no problem with shocks but some problem in steering gaaat. (Pardon my ignorance as i am not sure whatever that was)

Blue bottle Zic is 20W50
Immediately change it after confirming k 10W40 daala hai ya nai.
Dont take risks on aftermarket filters, go with Honda Original Filter

If you want everything done then fuel filter cleaning, injector cleaning, catalytic converter cleaning, balancing, alignment, brake service, Air Filter, AC Filter, Transmission Oil change, Coolant Change, Brake Oil change

You can decide what you feel is required e.g. filters need replacement or not, alignment needed or not etc.
or refer to owners manual for service intervals if you are sure the mileage is genuine

As for suspension noises no one here can help you with a diagnosis without actually looking at the issue.

Sir if avg is good, keep driving. No need to fix what aint broken.
Since its an older vehicle, you should keep the coolant levels in check, if brake fluid is dark (brown) it needs replacing as well as clutch fluid. Apart from that nothing needs to be done.

Usually, The 100k service requires fuel filter, spark plugs, catalytic clean, throttle service, valve/tappet adjustment.

First, Who is reliable and honest man for suspension/shock absrober’s job in karachi who can have a look at it?

Second? As for Blue box zic, yes it is 20w40. I got it today. Is it that bad that i should immediately get it changed. Owner confirmed me that he has been using this engine oil for 2 years now.

Third, How would you know that catalytic converter needs service?

I am not from karachi, cannot guide you for that.

If the previous owner has already been using is for 2 dam years then ab probably kuch nai ho sakta.
The best you can do is on the next interval try 10W40 and if if leaks from the valve cover gasket then you will know you cant shift back to 10W40

Catalytic converter k liye you will feel poor acceleration, sluggishness, loss of power. If one uses good fuel from reputed pumps then i have had no issues upto 150k km, from bad pumps after 60-70k it was choked.

If you do get it cleaned never ever never get the jaali removed. Get it cleaned by chemical, it is not a 100% perfect solution but better than getting jaaldi removed.
