Used Yokohama 185/70 r14 for xli 2008. Want to change tyre. Kindly suggest

I need suggestions on a lot of things. First of all the xli 2008 I drive originally comes with 175/70 r14 that is roughly 600 mm in diameter. We replaced it with 185/70 r14 Yokohama which is around 615 mm in diameter. I have read it somewhere that 3 percent variation in diameter is acceptable, so 3 percent of 600 is +- 18. Now we can play between 582 to 618 in diameter I guess. The company booklet I read suggest. 175/70 r14 + 185/65 r14 and 195/65 r15. Now that's confusing as the last 195/65 r15 goes up to 635 mm which is above 3 percent threshold.
Secondly with all this china Vs Japan Vs smuggling etc it's hard to choose and trust brands. Mirage mr162 is available in 195/70 r14 as it is 91h but that will go around 629 mm in diameter.
I want 88h and above rating as I often have 5 seat occupied with luggage loaded and village roads and I am not planning to spend on getting 15 inch rims. So now you know. Kindly suggest

IMO, you should stick with the stock tyre size, or at max. 185/70/R14. No need to change rims to 15" and then buy / change tyres accordingly.

2ndly, regarding brands, you may choose any depending on your budget, but still, I would sincerely suggest to avoid buying smuggled tyres.

Chinese brands can be acceptable, as long as they belong to some reputed brands.

In renowned brands; Bridgestone / Dunlop all the way! If tight on budget.

What tempts me in 195/70 r14 is the 91h rating in Mirage mr162. Can't find anything higher than 88 in 185/70 r14.

My priority is comfort and fuel efficiency. I don't drive that often but mostly when we does its uneven village roads with roughly 550 to 600 kg plus load ( 5 seat occupied plus luggage load)

Then 1st prefer tyres from Michelin, Pirelli or Continental; any series which matches your budget requirements. The more is the "Gurr", the more is the "Meetha".

Then lastly, Bridgestone / Dunlop.

Should not matter, unless / until you drive at extremely high speeds, and trust me, XLI is not a good choice, if car has to be driven on high speeds.

As far as I know, 120 kmph is the max. allowable limit on highways and any of 185/70/R14 tyres speed rating, will meet / exceed this limit.

Me myself weight around 110 and I have 5 passenger of my weight in my family during a family trip and 88 rating makes me sweat in such trips if we add vehicle weight on top of that.

Dear, it is the load rating per tyre, and not the rating for combined 04 tyres, or, weight of the persons, luggage, etc.

To give an example, if a tyre can afford at max. 500 Kgs, then 04 tyres will be able to support around 2000 Kgs, which is more than enough, as it covers the weight of the car, as well as passengers, luggage, etc. inside it.

If the load rating and speed rating of the tyre which you intend to buy, meets / exceeds the requirements mentioned in the owners / users manual, then you may consider yourself and your ride safe.

Jazak Allah may Allah bless you for this guidance. Coming back to brands kindly recommended authorized retailer for michelin. I checked tyre point online they don't have anything in 185/70 r14 in Michelin pirelli or Even continental.

Finally out of all three options in 14 inch. 175/70 r14, 185/65 r14 and 185/70 r14. Which one is more preferably for all around benefits if I spent on Michelin.
